"Those who would be free must strike the first blow" I can't remember who first said this. We as oppressed peoples react way too often-when and where we must initiate. Common sense says that to win we must plan, strategize, prepare ourselves, and then we can expect to win. We often allow our opponents/enemies to set the stage, determine the tenor and tone of the struggle. We must seize the initiative! We can create our own "game" by throwing out the "rulebook"! My position has long been that the best defense is a great offense. I'm proud Kwame Ture was one of my first direct and inspiring teachers in the Movement. We best honor him by actualizing what he taught: work for others' freedom not just our own as individuals, fight capitalism and all of its evils, study and teach- the great cultures and history of struggle-not just defeats but also victories-by all our oppressed peoples', build up the mass struggle by organizing the masses, amongst the masses.
He speaks such important facts and I really really wish he was more known. Our struggle will forever remain until Black people understand mobilization vs organization. We are not moving correctly that is why significant change has not been made.
Salams, I have just come across the honourable Mr Kames Ture , on YT for the first time. His lectures and analysis are incredible ! This gem has been kept from us. His discussions on Zionism, are still true today , and he was way ahead of his time. His lectures ate totally unscripted , just amazing !❤

Can anyone make sense of what he says at 29:32? What is/are the word/s before 'position'? It sounds like 'claire poise.' 'clear poised position'? That doesn't really make sense. Closed captioning renders it as 'Clare boys position,' which doesn't make sense either.

We are a disorganized people. We have to get this together. B4 we do anything. This in itself will but fear in them. And put us in the driver seat to where we need to change

Wow. This is it.
Even more relevant today...this should be taken seriously and implemented among our leaders
