Just got the same problem. I am trying to glue it together again with Loctite 495. I also bought the moza r5 bundle in December 2023. Thnks for the video.
Before I'm going to open it up; Mine only now and then fails to shift gears, and sometimes it's only either the up-shift or the down-shift that isn't responding, so I'm wondering how that could be if the issue is breakage? Curious to hear your thoughts on that. Thanks for this video. ps (edit) At the end of the video you say ''they print these universally,'' which made me wonder if Moza's other wheels (if I wanted to buy one of their other models to replace this failing one) have that same flimsy plastic part in them?
For mine, it was only one side that was broken, but it wasn't instant, I think it had a hairline fracture that eventually was a complete break. Perhaps you're is both sides. I can confirm it effects their other wheels. The 3d print file works on the cs, es, and gs wheels. Not sure what years, though. I suspect their newer wheels have different internals as I think seen pictures of the whole shifter being one solid piece, instead of a metal outer and plastic inner. I would suggest a factory reset and calibration before opening anything up. Moza has guides for both of those on their website.
I started to hear rattling sounds when my wheel go around. At first I thought a screw is come loose. But after watching this video I am starting to think I have the same problem as in this video. My left shifter is working, but it has more play than right shifter. Don't You have warranty on these wheels, why didn't You just send it back?
I did have warranty, the lead time for shipping it out/being repaired/sending it back was ~ 8 weeks. Not something I wanted to do as I don't have a backup wheel. I've also read that some people get the fix done on the paddles only to have them fail again months later.
Thank you very much, I had the same problem and I printed it in a store here in my city, it worked perfectly
that's great you got it worked out! happy racing

I glued mine, and it held together surprisingly well!
Mine are spot on. Luckily. For now.
.... I call them Ben and Jerry ... 😊
Why is this a thing with a 500 GBP bundle ?
If this happens to mine I'll be livid !
Seems like it was only for a period of time or a small batch. Some people report hundreds of hours without fail. 🤷♂️
