Shutting windows by night is also stupid, because the outside light doesn't disturb nobody, while the view can be very interesting for those who sit by the window. Flying with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Tokyo on A340-600 (unforgettable, fantastic plane) I had the fabulous privilege of 4 hours of northern lights over Siberia. With Austrian, I would have just the claustrophobic feeling of a blocked view. Thanks!
Exactly, that's the point... I got already 4-5 comments on this video asking what do I expect to see in the night... First, they are not aware at all about the Northern Lights. And second, they don't get the whole point of this: the airline does it also during daylight flights...
I paid for a window seat on a daytime flight on a Singapore Airlines flight from LHR to SIN - in business class. We were airborne at c. 12.30 local time, by the time lunch service was over, it was c.4pm departure time, we were flying into the night, but they chose to close the blinds to let 'children' in business class sleep. I wasn't happy but you are effectively a prisoner on a flight and they can do what the heck they like and if you don't like it...best no go there. Hence I will never knowingly fly on a 787. And I hope other airlines let people choose whether to look out or not! People that want dark can PUT THEIR EYESHADES ON.
The video screens are the most bothersome on night flights! On the meals, well, going, going.....gone! Jetblue stopped serving hot meals on their Europe flights in Y-Class and others will follow. KLM/Delta meals are ridiculous across the Atlantic. United is the last one with some decent meals. On my way to Austria from Puerto Rico I choose IBERIA as first choice depending on $$$ and amazingly Condor from SDQ to FRA has excellent catering and a full meals to preorder. SDQ has excellent food quality. The window issue is just made for the flight crew and they don't want to be bothered!! Austrian is an airline that is just "there" Your videos are EXCELLENT! BRAVISSIMO!
Dimmable windows seem like a solution to a non-existent problem. Unless the idea is to save weight by not having plastic window shades so you can board more pax. In any case the passenger should have control of the window dimming if they paid for the seat. Not being able to look out sucks the joy out of what remains an amazing experience for humans…
"Dimmable windows seem like a solution to a non-existent problem". I think you've described it perfectly with that phrase... The only reason behind this is that the airplane doesn't need to carry the window shades, which reduces weight and fuel consumption.
Exception might be when it's time for the majority of passengers to want to sleep if they can. Can be frustrating with the plane dark, and then you get people who just open up the window shade. Makes it tough. However, I agree that outside of those times, there should be flexibility with windows!!
Completely agree with you about the B787. 2 questions:- 1) Was there a choice of main course for dinner (I HATE gnocchi) 2) Was there an entertainment box under any of the seats?
Absolutely nothing more incredible, it was very good and also a great trip that is also tracked on Fligthradar 24, most of all the fruits, breakfast and juice with bread were good. butter without leaving out a ham unless there wasn't any, but it was all worth it, great trip.
I have been watching this channel as a kid, I loved it, I watched it almost everyday without my parents noticing. I am glad that I am seeing a growing channel. One day you will hit 1 million subs. I can’t wait to see the videos :D.
Window dimming policy is ridiculous and outrageous if you pay for a window seat, as I always do. I’ve never had had this on 787, but if I had, I would have called flight attendant every 10 minutes of the flight to complain about it.
Hi.. Love everything about OnBoardHD.. The trip reports especially the bits where we view the clouds the countries and some landmarks- it’s incredible- you must do a BLR-LHR trip once- on Air India- they have the dimmable lights but in our control-but yes thank you for the wonderful channel and the even more wonderful trip reports- our weekends are sorted..
Thanks so much!! The route BLR-LHR is definitely on the wish list. I was very close to doing it this year... but at the end it was not possible. I really hope it will be possible in 2025! :)
First of all, thank you. We always enjoy your wonderful your videos and explanation of the trip. Secondly, I strongly agree with you about the windows. We photographers always like to capture everything accurately, but this feature prevents you from seeing everything during the trip. I think they invented this feature to relieve the flight crew from having to direct passengers to open the window curtains during takeoff and landing, and to control the passengers’ comfort from unwanted light entering during the flight and while the passengers are resting.
I believe the window shading controls are monitored on the Flight Attendant Control panel. I am a flight attendant and do not work this airplane often, but I'm quite certain the cabin crew control the panel, not the airplane itself. At my airline we allow the passengers to decide their window shading, but I do remember disengaging a "lock" of some sort on my flight attendant panel to allow customers control of their window shading after being informed by passengers their window shade controls did not seem to be operative. So, I'm going to venture that we the cabin crew have the ability to allow customers to decide their window shading, not Boeing or the 787 model airplane.
Lucas, I agree with you about the dimming windows. For the money you pay to fly you should be able to look out at any time 😮Beautiful plane ✈️ otherwise I enjoy the weekly flight to wherever & on whatever. Great job! 😊❤
I understand (and support) that they block the windows in fully open for takeoff and landing, as that is something related to security (it's the equivalent of having the window shades open for takeoff and landing). But what they do in some airlines (and also in Austrian) is just disgusting... Thanks so much mate! Glad you enjoyed this Trip Report :))
Another excellent video: I share your dislike of windows being blocked, I always get a window seat if possible and spend the entire flight looking out the window. Wasn't impressed with the food either. At least you did still get to see sunrise 😊
I’ve been on the 787 quite a few times now, but I only just flew on my first 350 last month. The Dreamliner is indeed a great plane, although it would be far better if the airlines used 2-4-2 seating, as it was designed, instead of squeezing in 3-3-3. As for the windows, nearly all airlines use the lockout. I can see their point: other than we avgeeks, most passengers just want to sleep in a dark cabin. For comparison, I was disappointed by the 350 because of the interior noise. I thought it was imagination, but I saw a few studies that determined the 350 about 5 decibels louder in the cabin. Not much, but enough that a frequent flyer like me would notice. The 350 squeezes in 3-3-3 as well.
Passengers wanting to sleep can dim the windows or use eyeshade. When I have my window not blocked and people are sleeping I always keep it in the second position, which blocks already a lot of light and no passenger has ever told me anything. Just when I see something interesting to see I briefly undimm it completely.
@ Again, I understand your frustration, but the airlines are going to cater to 95% of their customers, rather than the 5% who want to see the extraordinary views.
@OnboardHD I love the 787 as a plane, but agree about the crew overriding the dimmable windows. I thought it was a great 'self-service' feature at first till last month. On a United flight from MEL-SFO, departing at midday, the windows were dimmed after the first Lunch meal and then for the duration of the flight. Sunset wasn't for another 4 hours at least!
They're not the only ones. We were on a daytime flight from Singapore to London (in business) and i was looking forward to seeing the views as we flew west, but no, as soon as the crew were realised that shut the blinds, saying people wanted to sleep - er no its daytime.
It's disgusting, absolutely disgusting. That's the reason why I don't have basically any B787 Trip Reports on the channel and I avoid them always. People can sleep perfectly with the windows in any position. And if they don't and eyeshade at an airport is 1$.
The A350 dimmable windows are an optional extra. It depends on the airline rather they wanna install it or not. So dont worry as far as i know the only carrier who has opted for the dimmable windows on the A350 in Economy Class is Starlux
Well, I've seen it already on Air France and Emirates confirmed they will have it on their planes... I'm really curious about how they will use them...
Hello there and welcome back Lucas ! .. and there you go again absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation travel trip reports and gorgeous stunning footage capturing camera work and I really appreciate and enjoy watching your lifestyle adventure lifestyle documentary video channel ! .. keep it up and have a wonderful blessed weekend and see you for next week upload video ! .. thanks again my friend ! ..
The dimmable windows are an option on the A350 and A330NEO and will not become a standard feature. Airlines can opt to choose them if they order A350 or A330NEO jets.
As a frequent flyer, I can tell you that nothing beats the old 767 for comfort in economy. But other than United and Delta, they’re hardly used for transatlantic anymore.
Hi I have flown on both the 787 and A350 both with Qatar from Edinburgh via Doha to southern Africa and cannot remember the blinds on the windows being locked but I could be wrong I enjoy your videos thank you
Great review mate, passengers deserve a right to open their windows if they want, I can’t go through a flight without not having windows open, the same thing happened when I went on air nz, they made us shut our windows down during night time
It's a common thing that they ask the pax to close the windows... but they don't prevent you from opening whenever you want. The B787 thing is on a different level...
In contrast, I really the dimmable feature of the Dreamliners :) I think it's nice that I could see outside even in the darkest mode without affecting other passengers' sleep, but I admit that it feels a bit weird when dim.
What do you say about the noise level inside the B787 compared to older planes like A330 and A340? Unfortunately i didn't had the chance to fly with new long haul planes yet.
I've had pretty goodluck on UA and KLM so far with my own control of windows, however the KLM was 8hr day flt . And several UA flts to FRA HNL OGG with me controlling windows . I've been wanting to fly Austrian for a couple years especially the 767 before they retired it but never got to . Thnks for info😊
That's good to know. The majority of airlines, once they finish the main food service, they dim the windows but they don't block them. That's I guess the correct thing. If anyone wants to keep it open, just do it.
Thanks for another interesting trip report! Not being in control of your own window shade is really not in order. Did the seats have individual air vents (nozzles)?
Enjoyable video, many thanks. Like you, I really don’t see the point of dimming and blocking the windows at night. What a pointless exercise. Passengers should have full control of their windows.
Thanks for a very nice report! I totally agree with you, you pay for a windows seat and cant se anything during a day time flight. It is not only on the Boeing Dreamliner. We had a daytime flight with Thai between BKK and SYD on an Airbus 350 and we were brusque ordered to have our blinds down just after breakfast. Why not instead hand out eye masks to those who prefer to sleep? This bad habit looks like a way to reduce the workload for the crew by making the passengers sleep
I understand (and support) that they block the windows in fully open for takeoff and landing, as that is something related to security (it's the equivalent of having the window shades open for takeoff and landing). But what they do in some airlines (and also in Austrian) is just disgusting... Well, if the windows are regular ones and not dimmable you can always keep the bottom part open. That's what I always do.
Great trip report. Please give feedback to Austrian Airlines regarding the windows. Operating flights with the 787 is pretty new for them - maybe they will change the window dimming policy.
Not a fan of blocked windows at all. But I wonder how often one has to repeat it. Do you *know* that Austrian also keeps the windows blocked on the westbound daytime flights to the US? How was the quality of the WiFi (if there way any)? When you said "no sockets" does not also mean not even an USB socket or "just" no real power outlets? Had there been just those two (surprisingly disgusting) meals or did you also get something to drink during the night?
Yes, they block them also during daylight flights. The IFE was basically the same as on the other long-haul planes they have. If I remember correctly, there was just a regular USB connection (not USB-C). No drinks service during the night, of course. You can go to the back galley and use the self-service (water and juice); don't disturb the crew, they are occupied chatting behind the curtain.
no weekend is complete without watching your awesome vlogs...just sights, sounds and spectacular visuals...keep it rocking.... P S The food that i saw was the worst i have seen in sometime.... pathetic and even disgusting is dimming of the windows
Thanks so much, mate :) I'm sorry that this Trip Report was kind of negative... but I felt I had to highlight the disgusting policies of some companies... See you next weekend with a much more positive atmosphere! :D
I'm not really bothered by the crew dimming. It's similar to FAs yelling at you to put the screen up / down. My issue is when they fail. UA 2 (SIN to SFO) should be dimmed during some daylight hours, to acclimate to the time change. On my flight, they were not working and remained un-dimmed the whole 16h flight, so no sleeping.
As an austrian it's sad to see how average this airline has gotten since lufthansa bought it, this was once one of the best airlines in Europe... The same happened with Swiss... Was an icon of the sky until the German top dog took over...
That's very good to know. I flew once on KLM B787 (2-3 years ago) and I remember they dimmed all the windows after the meal service, but they didn't block them at all. That's exactly how airlines should work. They can put dim them to the 50% so everyone that is not aware about how they work don't keep it open, but everyone has still full control...
Great video as always, thanks for sharing. Just allow me one hint. The route you show at the beginning is not correct. Planes never fly transatlantic routes straightly from west to east, but along great circles, which is much shorter. So in this case the route would have gone close to Greenland or even over Greenland.
You can see on the live flight tracking that this flight had been assigned a pretty Southern NAT which is pretty close to the animation shown at the beginning and far away from the shortest route. Probably to catch a favorable jet stream.
think they do it so that you don't disturb the neighbors while they are sleeping or children playing around with it, but Austrian Airlinescatering is the best ever in the business class
Good sense of humor regarding your comments on breakfast and thank god that I do not have to fly with Austrian air for whatever reasons. I think their way of controlling how window is utilized is not acceptable. If the company management still has common sense after reading these comments, they will have to revise. Thanks for the video.
haha well, I was really angry when editing that part of the video. They shoudl definitely do what other airlines did: send a msg to all the crews prohibiting to block the windows...
I heard that American Airlines doesn't lock the window dimming switch on their 787s. It sounds like they may be the only ones. I know United does lock the blinds, at least on transatlantic flights.
I've read some time ago that the majority of airlines from the USA sent msgs to their crews instructing them to not block the windows because the feedback from the passengers was extremely bad... I guess that's the normal consequence...
The crew thinks this way the people will sleep more and disturb them less. The company thinks the passengers will sleep more so they can carry less liquids as less people will ask for them.
Great report Lucas, I think I might be avoiding Austrian in the future lol tbh the food looked gross and the chicken looked raw, and mayonnaise? I like mayo sometimes but that was just off putting.
flown with austrian many times as i am based in innsbruck. experiences are usually fine. especially connecting in Vienna is very easy. compared to other european airlines they are solid without being exceptional. compared to US based airlines they are better. catering is usually very good by do&co, especially when departing from Vienna. and business class long haul with austrian is a treat with their flying chef on board. even in economy they are ok. far better than Lufthansa, even if the product isn't that different. better catering and friendlier crews make a big difference. most recent longhaul flight was on LH MEX-FRA in premium eco and that was underwhelming as expected. outbound on KLM economy comfort i was happier than in LH premium eco. go figure. between Austria and north america austrian would be among my top choices for sure. KLM, aeromexico and air france would be other good choices. often i end up flying with Lufthansa, because it has the best route network and unfortunately Austrian did not resume their flights to Mexico this winter, by unfortunately prioritising US destinations.
Hi Lucas. Not sure what happened to my other reply to your vlog from this morning!!!✈✈🎉Never mind .It was a very disappointing experience for your 😢Mostly the windows and food. I missed the views as did several others according to some of their replies ✈✈Never mind the only good thing was the smart interior 😊. Have a great weekend xx❤
Thanks a lot, Jenny :) I understand (and support) that they block the windows in fully open for takeoff and landing, as that is something related to security (it's the equivalent of having the window shades open for takeoff and landing). But what they do in some airlines (and also in Austrian) is just disgusting... See you next Saturday with a more positive Trip Report! :)
According to Austrian customer service the windows can be controlled by passengers during the flight. They wrote it must have been a mistake by the cabin crew on your flight. I hope, that's correct.
As I say on the video, on this flight it was it was not that bad because the moments when they dimmed and undimmed them were exactly with sunset and sunrise. But that was pure coincidence. I have a friend that got his window blocked all the way from Vienna to New York during the day and the crew said they had to keep them dimmed.
@@debbypurcell6215 And the passenger remove the money from them by not booking tickets on the B787. That's why many airlines already instructed their crews to not block the windows.

I was extremely pissed off :)
Total agree with you you choose a window seat you should be able to look out at all time
Exactly... but that's how airlines work now...

I really hope the airlines won't stop offering the meals on long-haul flights. They are part of the essence of those flights...
Totally agree with the blocking of windows. Should be left alone and let the passengers dim it themselves.
Apparently that's not what many airlines think...
Hello. Thanks for all of your videos. Your flight reports are amazing. Keep up the good work. I like them very much.
thanks mate! Happy that you liked them! :)

Great poresentation of the Austrain B787. I agree about about you're findings on the company window policy, it should be up to the individual .
Thanks! :)
Exception might be when it's time for the majority of passengers to want to sleep if they can. Can be frustrating with the plane dark, and then you get people who just open up the window shade. Makes it tough.

Thanks for the warning about the windows!
7:34 love the shot of that United Airlines swooping in with the landing :D
Completely agree with you about the B787. 2 questions:- 1) Was there a choice of main course for dinner (I HATE gnocchi) 2) Was there an entertainment box under any of the seats?
1. Yes, there was a vegetarian option.
2. No, modern entertayment systems don't have box under the seat.
Absolutely nothing more incredible, it was very good and also a great trip that is also tracked on Fligthradar 24, most of all the fruits, breakfast and juice with bread were good. butter without leaving out a ham unless there wasn't any, but it was all worth it, great trip.

Yes, probably that would make them re-think this idiot policy...

love the ramp and aerial views of ORD. Very good camera skills. Agree with your comments about window seat

That plane looks pretty :)
The plane looks amazing.... but the crew use of the windows is disgusting.
@@OnBoardHDthere should be even one in the amenity kit
😆😆🤩I Love Austrian Airlines........
I like flying with them... but this window policy makes me not watn to fly on their B787 anymore...
Muchas gracias! :)
Hello there and welcome back Lucas ! .. and there you go again absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation travel trip reports and gorgeous stunning footage capturing camera work and I really appreciate and enjoy watching your lifestyle adventure lifestyle documentary video channel ! .. keep it up and have a wonderful blessed weekend and see you for next week upload video ! .. thanks again my friend ! ..
Thanks a lot mate!
Wish you a great week :)
The dimmable windows are an option on the A350 and A330NEO and will not become a standard feature. Airlines can opt to choose them if they order A350 or A330NEO jets.
I really hope they will not become the standard... For now I know Air France and Emirates have them.
From minute 16:15 on, there's an incredibly beautiful background music. I'd like to know its name. Thanks.
It looks so modern but how was the flight? Also which Long Haul aircraft is better onboard Austrian? The 767, 777 or 787?
THe B787 is a great plane... but those windows and the crew blocking them is just disgusting.
As a frequent flyer, I can tell you that nothing beats the old 767 for comfort in economy. But other than United and Delta, they’re hardly used for transatlantic anymore.
@@OnBoardHDI have a question
Does the US carriers United and American block the windows on their 787s?
Great video!❤ can you please tell me how much the trip lasted without cuts?
I flew in the ANA dreamliner this year and they allowed me to look out of the window the whole time, I just had to dim it a little bit during sunset.
Well, at least they didn't block it...
I enjoyed this trip report makes you not flying on it again. Very comfortable plane, its the windows thats the issue.
Thanks so mucch! :))
Hi I have flown on both the 787 and A350 both with Qatar from Edinburgh via Doha to southern Africa and cannot remember the blinds on the windows being locked but I could be wrong I enjoy your videos thank you
I've flown a few times on Qatar's B787 and never happened to me either. Seems that Qatar Airways understands what pissed passengers off...
on china eastern and china southern airlines' dreamliners, they dimmed the windows only while taking off and landing
Why, that's just the interesting part.
Thanks for another great video. Excellent photography! The distanct views of Chicago city are pin sharp. What video equipment do you use?
Thanks. You have the info on the description of every video.
Btw, I wish Bamboo Airways hadn't cancelled this plane, it looks nice
What do you say about the noise level inside the B787 compared to older planes like A330 and A340?
Unfortunately i didn't had the chance to fly with new long haul planes yet.
The 787 is amazing, it’s quiet and especially the air is so much better
It's more silent, like every new-gen airplane.
Unique aircraft - dimmed windows and no winglets!
hehe
It's completely disgusting. No, there were no individual air vents.
Nice 👍
Thanks :)
Enjoyable video, many thanks. Like you, I really don’t see the point of dimming and blocking the windows at night. What a pointless exercise. Passengers should have full control of their windows.
Unfortunatelly that's not what many airlines think...
Hello Lucas ❤✈!!!!!! Many thanks for your efforts 👍 And......the Windows 🤔)) Stay awesome Lucas!!!! Xx...........
Thanks! More flying adventures next Saturday :))
@OnBoardHD Thanks Lucas 👍❤ I'm waiting!!!!! Xx........
I flew on air Canada 787 9 from YVR back YYZ two days ago I’m back in Thunder Bay now they started lock there windows on Dreamliner
Good to know. Another one to avoid. Thanks :)
I totally agree. There is a reason why sleep masks exist...
Exactly.
@@OnBoardHD War ben ik benieuwd 😊
Great trip report. Please give feedback to Austrian Airlines regarding the windows. Operating flights with the 787 is pretty new for them - maybe they will change the window dimming policy.
Thanks a lot!
I already did, the same day I arrived... are they gonna change anything? Mos probably not.
So it looks like Austrian have started to roll out the 787. So have they already started withdrawing the b767?
@OnBoardHD OK, muchas gracias
Meals look very sad but nothing surprises anymore
That's the bad thing... it doesn't surprise anyone anymore... This is the new standard...
@@OnBoardHD Thanks! And blocking during daylight flights is definitely not acceptable.
watching. here from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. congratulations on the video, friend....like724😀😀😀
Thanks a lot :)
no weekend is complete without watching your awesome vlogs...just sights, sounds and spectacular visuals...keep it rocking.... P S The food that i saw was the worst i have seen in sometime.... pathetic and even disgusting is dimming of the windows
Thanks so much, mate :)
I'm sorry that this Trip Report was kind of negative... but I felt I had to highlight the disgusting policies of some companies... See you next weekend with a much more positive atmosphere! :D
The dimmable windows are definitely one of the most frustrating feature to have on the 787s ☹️
Otro directo mas, muchas gracias.
Me alegra que te haya gustado :)
Hola saludos desde México
Para mañana no subirás un nuevo video ???
As an austrian it's sad to see how average this airline has gotten since lufthansa bought it, this was once one of the best airlines in Europe... The same happened with Swiss... Was an icon of the sky until the German top dog took over...
I remember, just 2-3 years ago, when they even have the option to pre-purchase some amazing Do&Co food in economy class.
Well, both of your "icons of the sky" were actually bankrupt when LH took over.
Oh nice you finally take AF A350 !! When will the video be released?
Yeah, in some weeks :)
@ perfect !! The new cabin or the « Joon » cabin?
I have that plane on my photo XD Nice video
cool :)
I flew on a KLM 787-10 last year and they do not blocked the windows. Also the breakfast was a real breakfast not something like that
That's very good to know.
It's just a map that connects both cities. It doesn't create great circles.
think they do it so that you don't disturb the neighbors while they are sleeping or children playing around with it, but Austrian Airlinescatering is the best ever in the business class
Business class catering might be great, I don't know. The economy class one... well...
Could this be the culinary Lufthansa touch ?
I heard that American Airlines doesn't lock the window dimming switch on their 787s. It sounds like they may be the only ones. I know United does lock the blinds, at least on transatlantic flights.
I've read some time ago that the majority of airlines from the USA sent msgs to their crews instructing them to not block the windows because the feedback from the passengers was extremely bad... I guess that's the normal consequence...
I like the airlines that have boarding music
As long as they turn it off when boarding is finished, yes, me too.
Why do the airlines block windows at all? Does this give them any advantage?
The crew thinks this way the people will sleep more and disturb them less. The company thinks the passengers will sleep more so they can carry less liquids as less people will ask for them.
Airlines got no right to block window seats so no one can look out of them i agree with you
Well... they think they do...
787!!!
Yeah! Not very common on the channel right?
Today we'll see exactly why :)
@OnBoardHD yes. Srry for late reply

Great report Lucas, I think I might be avoiding Austrian in the future lol tbh the food looked gross and the chicken looked raw, and mayonnaise? I like mayo sometimes but that was just off putting.
hehe On top of the windows thing... the catering wasn't the best, definitely not...
flown with austrian many times as i am based in innsbruck. experiences are usually fine. especially connecting in Vienna is very easy. compared to other european airlines they are solid without being exceptional. compared to US based airlines they are better.
catering is usually very good by do&co, especially when departing from Vienna. and business class long haul with austrian is a treat with their flying chef on board. even in economy they are ok. far better than Lufthansa, even if the product isn't that different. better catering and friendlier crews make a big difference. most recent longhaul flight was on LH MEX-FRA in premium eco and that was underwhelming as expected. outbound on KLM economy comfort i was happier than in LH premium eco. go figure.
between Austria and north america austrian would be among my top choices for sure. KLM, aeromexico and air france would be other good choices. often i end up flying with Lufthansa, because it has the best route network and unfortunately Austrian did not resume their flights to Mexico this winter, by unfortunately prioritising US destinations.

According to Austrian customer service the windows can be controlled by passengers during the flight. They wrote it must have been a mistake by the cabin crew on your flight. I hope, that's correct.
Was the window dimmed the whole flight I would tell the crew to make mine brighter, but it wasn't really a difference, nice video however
As I say on the video, on this flight it was it was not that bad because the moments when they dimmed and undimmed them were exactly with sunset and sunrise. But that was pure coincidence. I have a friend that got his window blocked all the way from Vienna to New York during the day and the crew said they had to keep them dimmed.
Some passengers are inconsiderate. So to reduce fights over windows, the airlines made the decision to remove control from the passengers.
@@debbypurcell6215 And the passenger remove the money from them by not booking tickets on the B787. That's why many airlines already instructed their crews to not block the windows.
