Thanks for watching Aimee! Sorry it’s been so long. We certainly had fun on the Mardi Gras, the Bolt SeaCoaster is great!! Also loved the Cove Balcony and so pleased I picked that cabin. Best Wishes, David
Hi John, thanks for the comments. Sorry I was away so long, I’ve been recovering from Covid and also had a few cruises cancelled. Lots planned for 2022! Thanks again. David
Hi Felicia! I loved that cove balcony and I’m sure you will too. If I ever sail on Mardi Gras or Carnival Celebration in the future, I will pick the cove balcony. Have a great cruise in November and thanks so much for watching.
What a nice well paced stateroom review ! I love that cove balcony as it is "at one" with the sea ~~~ May I ask if you were bothered by any noise or echo-ing voices from adjacent cove balconies ? CHEERS !!!!! LOVE your channel !!!
Hello and thanks so much for watching. The Cove Balcony was an excellent choice and I would love to book one again in future. As far as I can remember, I didn’t notice any noise from fellow passengers at all. I get it would be more noticeable when in port. Have a great cruise and enjoy the sound of the ocean! It’s great. David
@@CruiseShowUK Many thanks David for your lovely reply !!! Can't wait to cruise in a cove and feel as one with the ocean !!! Happy travels and cheers to you ! m.
Hi David, good to see you back bringing us yet another informative cabin overview of this new ship. The cabin is cleverly thought out, focusing more perhaps on “functionality” then luxury? Never been on a Carnival ship and in truth unlikely to ever be unless your vlogs on the ship & food gives me reason to reconsider. All the best David and thank you 🙏👍
Thanks so much for watching and sorry it’s been so long!! This was my first cruise with Carnival. I chose this because I wanted to see the differences between Mardi Gras and P&O’s Iona! I’m unlikely to cruise Carnival again, simply because I like more luxury as you say. Having said that it was fun and great value. We only paid £263 each!!!! Thanks again for watching. David
Hi David What a great idea to put the balcony on deck 5 Lovely to hear the waves and I would imagine you could get to see plenty of sealife Welcome back 😁
Missed your videos! Every room tour I've seen from Carnival Mardi Gras, it seems like the rooms are narrower than most ships. Did you feel that was true? Nice that they include such good masks!
Hello David. My wife and I have booked on deck 5 and had a question if you don’t mind. What was the noise levels like on deck five? Was it noisy As in hearing the ocean and the waves? My wife had made a comment about if the balcony is relaxing because of the noise.
Hello! It wasn’t overly noisy. Personally I love the sound of the waves. We very occasionally had noise from above, but it was never enough to cause us a problem. Just make sure you don’t have the gym above you, otherwise you will definitely hear that. Have a great time and thanks for watching. David
I have been on other Carnival ships in the cove balconies and our last ship the Horizon we constantly heard balcony door slamming from inconsiderate neighbors. Did Ya'll experience this? Did Carnival add soft close door arms?
Hi and thanks for watching. We really loved that cove balcony cabin. I can’t really remember if the door was soft close or not, however we certainly didn’t hear any door slamming. I didn’t know the Horizon also had the ‘Cove’ cabins. Good to know. Thanks again. David
@@CruiseShowUK Thanks for the answer. Guess we just got ignorant neighbors that were oblivious to the noise they were making when the Balcony doors slammed...it literally shook our room! Anyway, hopefully we will have better luck this cruise. Oh and the Horizon does has cove balconies but i believe they are only on level 2. 😀😀
personally, I like the Havana balcony better, the balcony gets sun and is much bigger than these. On the Havana you have a hanging seat, a lounger and another chair on your balcony. The cabins look exactly the same.
That's a steal for water bottles on a cruise ship. Buy 24 bottles for $12 and add the soda package for $9 per day and that's all I'd need for a grand total of $75 for a week long cruise. Carnival really is all about value. And shockingly they don't even make every person sharing the same cabin buy the same package or any other package at all, which is incredibly shocking.
Hi and thanks for watching. Yep! Carnival was certainly good value. When I look back at how much we paid for that cruise, it was exceptional value for money.

Its so good to see you.back ! I am booked on the Mardi Gras in a Cove balcony in January of 2023 so I'm eagerly awaiting these vlogs..
Thanks for watching Aimee! Sorry it’s been so long.

Really good to see you back, I thought you had packed up doing it. Looking forward to your next vlog, take care David.

elI will be on the Mardi Gras in Nov. I have a Cove balcony I truly found this video helpful.

Have a great cruise in November and thanks so much for watching.
Same as us, Nov 5th on deck 5
Good to see you back!
Thank you Craig! Really appreciate your comment. 😍
That’s a very new ship. Thanks for sharing David!👍
Thanks again for your support Shirley. I loved the cove balcony on the Mardi Gras!
Yes, your stateroom was on deck 5 so the balcony is very close to the ocean . Very cool 😎. I have never try for sailing with Carnival so far.

Thank you Jane! Yes, I loved the Cove Balcony. Thanks for watching. David

Hi Heather. The room didn’t feel narrower than any other ship.
Sorry I’ve been gone so long, thanks for sticking with me!
Best wishes, David
Excellent review as always 👍🏻
Thanks for watching Paul! David
Love the room
Thanks for commenting Kieran. Really appreciate it. 👍
Hope you're doing a food tour too, really enjoy your videos.
Yes I’ve got a good video planned! Thanks for commenting about my videos 👍

@@CruiseShowUK thank you so much! Great to know and we didn’t think about the gym.
Can you go fishing out in the balcony?
Hahaha! I don’t think so!!!
Did you happen to notice if the couch flips up into a bed? Thanks
Hi Lainey. Yes I’m sure it does convert into a bed. Highly recommend the Cove Balcony, it was so nice!

Hello!! How was the movement this far back aft? It’s my first cruise.
I think we were lucky with the weather so didn’t experience any problems. Definitely a consideration though if you suffer with sea sickness.
@@CruiseShowUK Do you happen to have any photos of the location ?? Outside the ship and balcony views?
But there not the same type cabin! this is a cove balcony and the other is a reg. balcony on 10th...
Thanks for watching!
personally, I like the Havana balcony better, the balcony gets sun and is much bigger than these. On the Havana you have a hanging seat, a lounger and another chair on your balcony. The cabins look exactly the same.
Thanks for watching John. I’ll have to take a look at the Havana cabins.
