Hi bud, according to the Skill Builder channel, they reckon it's exactly the same as the Triton track saw but cheaper! You just convinced me to get one from Screwfix so I can build my new router table cabinet. Excellent vid. All the best.
It works also with the Festool tracks but only the Makita tracks are also supporting the tilt protection because the SP6000 has the same feature. You also can buy the tracks from Westfalia, Triton or Titan which are exactly the same saws with just another label on it.
If you have a sacrificial peice under the work and tape up the hole to change the blade you will get a lot better dust removal, don't let the blade cut through the sacrificial peice just the work and the vacuum will such it all up, it's an excellent saw
just purchased this track saw after watching your video great review what blade do you use in your saw as i think i need to change the one that the saw was supplied with
Hey bud great news on the purchase i loved mine... I actually never changed mine out till it's last half of its life... ad it was a great cutting blade n not sure what the new ones are to like tho.. but when i did i went to a company called shark blades 👍
Hi just watched this again after your comment on Instagram and think I might get it as I going to make a bench with parf dogs and a short track would suit me better thanks
B&Q are doing the titan on clearance for £55quid just now Ray absolute bargain I paid more for one of my 1.4m tracks for my ts55 just purchased one today and Im Suprised bit weighty but for £55quid can't go wrong track is worth that alone
Hey bud thanks for the review. Great saw for the price indeed. TIP : Idk if you do that in other vids but pay attention to not joint your hand to much in front of your mic as it does make a lot of parasit noises . Cheers
Hi and many thanks for the video. I've just bought this plunge saw and haven't really done much with it yet. I noticed that on the video you have got rid of the kickback switch?? The other query I have is that the rails have a rubber edge which is directly in line with the blade when it comes down. Presumably this plastic edging is not necessary and will be ripped off when I start cutting through wood.
Hello yes.... I have on mine but I don't advise you do it... it's there for a reason... hence why I don't speak about it on the video.... so please if you do take it off it's at your risk... also the black rubber is as you say in line with the blade... that's there so when you make your first cut it's too cut the black rubber strip and that's what you line-up any future cut with... ... it's called a splinter guard I believe...
Suggest you read instructions for blade settings...scribe cut..blade change ...full depth cut...soft start is expensive feature fond on high end tools... If doing instruction vid/ reviews...do your home work..some peaple will take your vid as gospel
Great review, evolution tracks are compatible, see link, www.toolden.co.uk/accessories/power-tool-accessories/guide-rails/evolution-st2800-saw-track-2800mm/
Yeah, you can't cut corners with a track saw. They are supposed to cut straight lines... It is completely useless for laid 18mm chipboard flooring. It is dangerous for left-handed use.
bought one last week,, first time using plunge saw,, cut my worktop No Bother,, good review
Thanks for the video, Your saw looks very similar to the WEN 7.25-Inch Track Saw, Variable Speed (CT1274) here in USA.
mate the 3 step switch near the top next to the handle has 3 settings
1)scribe cut
2)Full range of depth
3)Blade change

watch out for different features.
Great honest review! I needed to listen to this.. heading down to buy on today. Thanks buddy!
Did you take the kick back off the saw and if so what do ya think of it now

Just subbed and my new Erbauer track saw is the dogs!
Great review thankyou 👍
Cheers

Hi. Have you cut worktops with it? Thanks.
I don't think I did with this one... but it's all down to blade choice gwt the right blade for the job and your be fine 🙂

Thanks for review ive just bought one . Ive taken anti kick back off but seems a good saw for the money
Did you get the clamps with it?
Yes 2 clamps thanks
Noticed the Erbauer in B & Q today... which surprised me.
Both Screwfix and B&Q are owned by Kingfisher.
Good review, thanks
What's the blade like ? How many teeth and can u get a better blade to fit ? Good video
Bro this will Lilley be a multi purpose blade. Buy your own blade for it. More teeth better cut. All blades will fit as you just buy a spacer.
Hi, I've just bought it from Screwfix last week for £129.99.
So it's even cheaper than when I brought it
What's your quick review Liam hill ?
A good, honest review Arron 👍👍👍 At £130 you can't go wrong 😎
Why do u advise not to cut 3.5 inch oak
did you remove the anti lick back knob to enable yu to pull it back on the track
Yes i did... but obviously it's on there for a reason... and I don't advise you take off... but then I carnt stop you doing it 😉😉
It may be the anti kickback but not sure. This thing doesn’t go on track easily need to turn the knob few times along the way
the slow start is a safety feature called soft start.
Does anyone know if this works with the evolution track?
Long winded.. but i know it works on makita rails which also fit the festool saw... and the festool I know works on the evo rails...

I just got 2 of them to get the extra runners just keep it as a back up saw now and for the price why wood you not well worth the money

Had to. Stop watching that focus hunting was messing eyes in

Good review but makes such an annoying noise with his mouth when he talks between sentences.
