There once was a very wealthy man who designed and manufactured many wonders. He was, for a time, the wealthiest American. He professed that he hated MSM yet never hesitated to use them for his benefit. He was rude, seldom if ever filtered what he said. In the beginning, the high social circles viewed his personality (Asperger's syndrome, Mysophobia:) , his lack of interpersonal skills, his bad habits (drug use) as tolerable eccentricities. However, overtime it became abundantly clear that this man had deep, dark mental and emotional issues. He died relatively young (70). Although 6"3" he weighed less than 100 LBS when he passed. He died alone on a plane to Houston, Texas tended to by Mormon handlers who weren't allowed to speak directly to him. His name was Howard Hughes. It will be interesting to see if Musk will fare any better.

An eerie, but dead-on equivalence! I’ve read several in-depth analyses articles, a book and watched an informative documentary with previously unknown and interesting details. Yes, Hughes died a reclusive paranoid, and a very disturbed man.

      THANK YOU.
Overvalued as a "genius" just like his value of Tesla!
I don't know much, but anyone can discern that he got exceedingly fortunate, not so much as being a genius...
He, with his brother, made a "piddly program" which connected/ listed business, and then sold it to Compaq for ~ 300mil!! Made another, small program, which also was sold for a nice profit, if I'm correct.
He was an early investor of PayPal and Facebook and profited from those; as you mention. Was an INVESTOR, originally, with Tesla... Sold his WAY overpriced Starlink system to RVer's, and people who make a living making e.g., RUclips videos of their hiking and camping experiences, etc... ( If I'm not mistaken, at least several months ago - the Musk's satellite receiver was in the $700 range for the initial purchase, on top of a monthly fee of over ~ $120/ month!)
Was a sort of a more successful "Elizabeth Holmes", by talking his way into government contracts...etc..
So, yeah, luck - and chutzpah.

My sister’s life was ruined by Drs prescribing prescription drugs and never following up on potential side effects. My sister thought she was getting dementia, chasing MRIs, seeing neurologist, taking tests, no one was looking at her medication‘s. I would go with her to her medical appointments and plead with doctors to look at her medication‘s and they would say, “well that doctor put her on it so she must need it. You’ll have to take it up with them.” my sister was a critical care nurse but even she couldn’t see what was happening with the side effects of these drugs. Her mind was so changed. I believe nursing homes are filled with people on too many drugs. It is its own industry, especially when it comes to seniors.

You realize this is a ton of propaganda and lies. Why can’t you people wake up and see that your own side is lying to you even NASA came out a year ago and said that there was no trace after three years of random drug test on Elon Musk of any drugs within his system; he smoked weed one ☝️ time on the Joe Rogan show which was one puff (after of course it was legalized) stirring up a lot of backlash and prompting an investigation, followed by three years of random drug testing. This was due to his government funding contract for SpaceX. The investigation, as well as NASA, concluded that he is not a drug user and no drugs, and very minimal amounts of alcohol, were ever reported to be found within his system.. a true drug addict that we need to be concerned about would not be able to hide that for three years with random government UAs. This is just another lie from the left to take down the credibility of people that are going to come in and take control from the corrupt people that have been running this country, well and the world as we have so much power and influence over other countries, right into the shitter.

Everyone's bottom, so to speak, is different. Elon may not hit that bottom until he has real consequences, but what does that look like for someone like him? I have worked with famous and wealthy people in the past who had very different lives compared to most, and because of that, they didn't find the same kind of help that many do in various recovery organizations where meeting others in a similar situation is a big factor in success around recovery.

Dissociation can be helpful but not all the time. Especially when you read up on trauma research, it’s working through the memory of the trauma held within the body instead of ignoring it which lets it get tempered over time.

The reason medications work differently in redheads is because our pain gene has mutations and is twisted.

It’s because it’s a lie it complete lie lie lie lie lie. He had three years of random government UA (drug testing) all brought forth due to backlash after he was on the Joe Rogan podcast and smoked one puff of weed after it was legalized .. and after the 3 years of random drug testing it was concluded with not only the investigation, but NASA making statements that he is not a drug addict because nothing within those three tested years showed any traces of drug use and I read somewhere that minimal traces of alcohol were found, but not on the job and nothing to be concerned about, meaning nothing even over a legal limit to drive a vehicle.
These tests were all done randomly and I think we can all agree that if you’re a true drug addict and you have random government testing done, especially by the side that probably doesn’t really like you so they’re not gonna give you any leeway, you’re not going to sustain a clear test for three years … there’s just no way .. So, please don’t insult your own intelligence by these lies and propaganda and instead just take the time to really use logic (as the media prays on our emotions) and determine how would a man become as wealthy as he is and have all the elite government contracts (including putting a habitable environment together, so we can possibly consider starting a civilization on Mars 😅) if he were a drug addict .. last time I checked, drugs were known to completely fry your brain cells and burn you out both mentally and physically. There is no way he would be able to sustain such toxic lifestyle, while being as busy as he is, and while getting random federal regulated and monitored UAs for 3 years, if there were actually any truth into your claim of him having an “open secret about his drug use.”🙄💯🤦🏻‍♀️

Seems like that happened when Nancy Reagan decided to just say no. Drug testing for entry level blue collar jobs has left a generation of young men unwilling to even try to get a job that would have been easy to get in the 1970s. Instead, they stay home getting more and more and unproductive and addicted. You might think that serves them right but imagine if they started doing drug testing for alcohol. @victoriameyers-y1o One job one situation. Sort of like if you went to work drunk. Then your boss would say you're drunk, you're fired. That's how it worked for millennia. Then they started drug testing every single person who applied for any kind of job whatsoever. It had nothing to do with performance.

I jokingly referred to him as melt face Musk. Holy shit! I didn't realize how accurate that call was. I referred to him in that way because in so many photos, his face appears as if it's melting.

Ketamine’s use in a clinical setting under a doctor’s supervision is worth a try if you suffer from depression. It doesn’t work for everyone but many claim to experience relief. Another option outside of medication is TMS, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. It’s not electroshock. It’s an in-office procedure where you sit in a chair and magnetic pulse are used to stimulate parts of the brain. It’s given over a number of sessions and might be covered by insurance. It is also being studied for use with some people on the autism spectrum.

I had Ketamine treatment for depression back in late 2022. It's expensive, and wasn't covered by my insurance. It was 500 dollars per infusion, and I had a total of 7. It's a pleasant experience, but it didn't really help ease my depression any. It also left an annoying hangover-like feeling afterwards. I'd recommend trying other more cost-effective treatments first before exploring this route. To me, the lack of long term studies on its efficacy coupled with the high costs make it at present a treatment of last resort.

There is a point that’s being missed in this discussion. Musk’s opinions about SSRIs and Ketamine are worth nothing. You are all forgetting that you are listening to him because he is rich, not because he’s qualified. Musk speaks of ketamine as if it comes in a known dose, when he knows it’s just stuff people are taking based on their own experience. (I’m not talking about ketamine clinics.) And again, Musk has no basis for asserting anything about SSRIs. He’s not a doctor or researcher. He’s rich. That doesn’t convey any credibility. He didn’t start Neurolink and knows nothing about the brain. I can own a supermarket but that doesn’t make me an expert in food additives. Nor does it make me a nutritionist. The half of this conversation that is responding to musk’s opinion suffers from two things. One, it isn’t his opinion on the efficacy of medication that was the topic. The topic was his possible abuse of drugs and his fiduciary responsibilities. Second, you got distracted by his opinion of medical ketamine for depression ONLY BECAUSE HE’s RICH. Snap out of it. You’re reinforcing a horrible presumption, and that is that people who are rich are by definition more knowledgeable and intelligent than experts in the field. Please stop doing that. It’s a modern mental error and you are making it right now.

@@OutOnTheTiles So true. I respect the people in this conversation, they are very smart. But for just a few moments they gave possible credence to musk’s assertion about SSRIs. Musk might even be right, but just from luck. My opinion is worth as much as his, which is zero. That problem exists in so many areas, politics, climate, vaccines, statistics, etc. No matter our opinion on vaccines, if all I know comes from the internet, I’m not really qualified. I actually do know how the MRNa vaccine works, but I learned it on the internet. I would not assert anything based on that.

Hey, my understanding is that the heat from the hot tub contributed to the ketamine effects. As in Mathew Perry might not have died had he not gone into the hot tub.

It’s also my understanding that ketamine in clinic via supervised infusion helps people feel not depressed , but that it’s not something that “cures” depression.
