So, like, there's this guy in my neigbourhood who's pretty awkward. He's got, like, the worst character values. My parents hate him. But, like, my parents can't control me. And he's kind of cute, in a way. So anyway I asked him out to a restaurant, but he never wanted to go in??? He wanted to chat for a bit, and then he wanted to stargaze, which was cute. And he kept complaining about being hungry, but we never actually got food. So I was like "fuck this I'm going home I want food" so I went home. And then I thought you know, his family doesn't have a lot of money, maybe the restaurant was too expensive. I should have thought of that really. But we can still hang out at his, right? So I asked if I could come over, and he said yes, but when I got there he was in an absolutely AWFUL mood. He seemed so stressed, grumpy, kept complaining about how tired he was. Mind you, he always seems to be tired, like he has some kind of sleeping problem or something... anyway he got this day-old plate of fried eggs out of the fridge, and offered me some. I'd already eaten but I didn't want to be rude so I took some. He sat down in the kitcken, but like the kitchen was absolutely DISGUSTING. Like there were stinking plates of food that had been left out for days, and the sink was broken and water was gushing out into a puddle on the floor. I don't want to be snobby or anything but, like, I can't eat in a room like that. So gross. So I went upstairs and chatted with his family.
I love that Stephanie is so uninterested in Max she's chatting with a random dude while they're having their first kiss lol. I like to think she invited Max on the date just because she knew he likes her and wanted to make him happy (after all, she's the perfect daughter from the perfect family, I imagine her being very kind and not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings) but she secretly likes Angel, and she wanted to move things somewhere by going to his house after school (because Angel was asking if he could bring her over when you refused ;D) but since she couldn't come, she felt heartbroken and then said to herself "oh well, I can at least date his brother" so that's why she agreed to be the girlfriend of Max. Buut then Angel explains to her that it was just his weird parents not wanting her over, they will start dating, and Max will have his heart shattered and will never recover from this heartbreak, aand we know the rest... lol, yep, I look to much into it, and yep, I have no life :'D
This series is great! It's so nice to see you focusing more on storyline and your sims relationships and personality, not just grinding for skills or money. But like, still doing a challenge/having a goal at the same time. I feel like that's the best combo for a sims lp! Also: I loove their house, it's so quirky. It's awesome.

Maybe they're vampires. Maybe Stephanie's family have been vampires all this time, and that's why they're so perfect. When Stephanie marries Angel, she turns him into a vampire too so they can be immortal. That's what inspires Max to be immortal too, he says "fuck this I can be immortal too but I don't need any of that vampire stuff I'm gonna be immortal just by being so satisfied by my own achievements that I can literally bottle youth and drink it." But then over time he sees Angel and Stephanie living their vampiric lives, and he's still jealous. So he decides to become a vampire too, and be even better at being a vampire than Angel.
On his birthday have max set off fireworks. That can be the catalyst for him getting kicked out and going out to be the best sim ever to prove to his family that he's better than them.
LMAO 'Angel would like to invite Stephanie over' James: (without reading it properly) 'NO!' James: 'Okay we need somewhere without distractions for this date...' selects a nightclub full of dozens of other sims. "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PEOPLE HERE? JEEZ!' James: 'WHY ARE YOU JUST SITTING THERE??' (Keeps fast forwarding time for another 4 hours without resetting the sim). I think James losing it at Sims and making daft decisions is the funniest thing. :D :D
Please put Max's bed in the separate room on the top floor and drape a curtain over the archway or something. It'd give him so much more privacy for, you know, _using tissues_ or something like that
I agree. Max is having a pretty awful life at the moment he should at least be able to use his tissues without his parents walking in to watch his TV or use his bathroom. No wonder he's so tense all the time! Let the boy relax and use his tissues in peace.
OOOh now Max is addicted to moodlet solvers / potions of youth assuming they're made from similar stuff, and he drinks more and more trying to relive that night with Stephanie, and that leads him to living forever.

I dub this "the episode where James officially lost it." XD I mean, I know you've been frustrated with this family in the past, but MAN, I don't think it's EVER reached this level of pain before. Then again, Max's needs have never been this consistently low before. . .at least it was good for FINALLY getting his emotional control over the line! Though just barely. . .I hope one of the last episodes has him smash a few things or throw a few more tantrums to properly seal the deal. Gotta make sure he's terrible, after all! And oh jeez, I know ALL ABOUT mixed signals with my Sims. I've recently only just gotten over a struggle between two Sims who apparently liked each other, but kept randomly refusing flirts and such. At least the important bit -- Stephanie being Max's girlfriend is over. Now to make the last two days of Max's teenager "years" the worst ever via his brother. XD

We just got hit by hurricane Irma. We have no power it is 90 degrees in our house and could be weeks before our power gets turned back on. Yet here I am using my very little battery life on watching my favorite LP.
I feel like maxes whole family either dies in a fair at the end, explaining why they're not in super sim , or they all move away without him to the new world coming. That creates a traumatic experience for max also explains why he's so heartless in the challenge.. ehhh??
There is a bug where if you ask them to do ANYTHING in a que with a command to pay the bills on their phone, they seem to never do it. You can que it up on the computer and it will work, but if you use the phone, they cannot have anything else to do but that.
Plot twist... She doesn't end up loving him so he either 1. Gets together with her mom and becomes her stepdad... Or 2.. he lures her down to the basement, keeps her there til she dies because if he can't have her...no one will..
I feel like killing Max would be great for the story. Max dies as a teenager, he was terrible, and then his parents have to work to bring him back to life, and from then on he's obsessed with immortality and mastering everything, now that he knows whats on the other side waiting for him.
So there's some sort of bug with paying the bills. I get it too. If you ask them to do anything after they are told to pay bills before they finish they quit paying the bills to do the other action.
James. Stop. Fast. Forwarding. So. Much. It causes the game to freak out and Sims get stuck (like Max sitting st the table for hours while you were on 2x speed) and it's super hard to tell what's going on. I LOVE this let's play, but speeding things up so much just causes more problems.
Whenever you leave the home lot, all sims left at home get reset once you get back. I've been annoyed by this problem for a couple of months already. It makes me not want to leave the lot with a sim unless all others are at work/school.
In the last episode you asked for a way to get sims to leave the conversation. An extreme way to do it is to install the "teleport any sim" mod (andrews studio) which gives you the option to click on a sim "just go away!" And they will instantly leave the area. I use it for ugly townies but it workd well for this too 😂
James you're getting less options because the Sims 4 social menu algorithm is ridiculous, but there is an option in the game settings to switch it to the Sims 3 style of social menu where all the options are displayed or more pop up in a way that makes sense.
Some day James will realize that having a yellow moodlet makes flirting pretty much impossible EVERY time. I know I've mentioned this before... many times. 😂😂
It’s pretty amazing how James is still so terrible at dating in the Sims after all this time 😂 I mean if this all was acting, then it was PERFECT! But something tells me they were some very genuine fails! 🤣
Is there someone who can help me? My sisters and I play the sims and have different households. I try to tell her not to play because when she plays with another household my sims are busy aging up but I don't want that to happen is there a setting I can change?
lilmissmuah, okay so open up Sims 4 and into either the family or world selection. Click on the triple dots in the corner to open the menu and select game options. Select gameplay. Here you can toggle your aging. You can have it off for everyone, on, auto age unplayed Sims or have only the active household age. That way your sister's Sims can age buts yours will not. Don't forget to select Apply Changes down the bottom afterwards. Think that's everything you need to know :)

The conflict resolution is hard to get to the other side, when your sim is a teenager.
In the last episode you asked for a way to get sims to leave the conversation.
