Thank you for taking the time to explain how/why these ditches are constructed, and what is considered along the forest road, the natural lay of the land and how water travels through or around that road, with respect to natural lowlands and other geographical aspects. To be honest, I find all road building to be a fascinating accomplishment, and a real triumph of man, as it is the critical foundation to the creation of civilization as we know it!👍

En cada cantarilla ,tienes que hacer un pozo el doble de ancho e igual de alto que la cantarilla .uno en la entrada y otro algo mas pequeño a la salida ,eso les evitara que se tapen

How does the ditch not fill back with sand after a couple of rains? Seems like the dirt moved to the outside of the ditch would just wash back in.
Unless it's a really hard downpoor, the material usually settles
