Sucrose's talent helps only with stuff that isn't resin gated, meaning fangs, balls, and so on can't be doubled with her, only things like slimes, masks, and such. I think albedo has the better talent as he basically saves you resin
they take a while to respawn tho and if u get a character n ur in a hurry to level them its rllyyyyy helpful god knows how much i hate fighting the stupid whopperflowers for hu tao bc i got her without preparing and sucrose saves me time. quality of life ig
@@rusu3 Resin takes way longer to refresh tho. Just going to your adventurer handbook that gives you new locations for enemies and fighting them takes less time than a refresh for 1 damn resin. That said, i like the crafting talents cus they save me 20 resin for when im off by only 1 material so i dont have to waste 20 resin to get that 1 material
I use Mona instead of Albedo because I never get lucky enough with Albedo (yes I know their percents are different)

@@scarawon7414 I have Albedo and I literally have never gotten a double except two times. Maybe it’s just because I craft my weapon ascension materials one at a time instead of all at once.
@@shuxqer it probably is. I did a test like this and the materials were refunded mostly when I crafted them all at once (usually 10 at a time.) than when I crafted them one at a time. For food it was the same but I could be wrong about this
Any character which passive talent helps in crafting is a big win
When the game first started, every character that was sent out on an expedition was actually "out" and you could not use them for anything other than the Spiral Abyss. So characters who spend less time away on an expedition was "useful". They changed it because players complain about being force to either lose out on expedition rewards or be unable to use characters who where off on one.
I think they changed it so that f2p players who don't have many characters can still do all the expeditions without being forced to use less characters on their team

Oh really? Didn't know abt that until just a few months ago, I thought it was kinda like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 merc mechanic and able to level up characters along the way, apparently it's not lmao
ningguang's talent doesn't count Cor Lapis as an ore, learned that from farming for chongyun

That "Childe is gone forevever" is probably the biggest "that didnt age well" I've ever seen in my life. For reference, Tsurumi Island came out around a week before I posted this. You can guess the rest from there.
I think in late game, and as an AR55 player, Expedition talents becomes the worst of all. Because at that point, you're just mindlessly leaving those and just come back the next day. The hour difference becomes insignificant.
In early game though yeah it's great

Same but with Klee I was so confused what the hands were on my map and when I found out what it was I thought everyone had it
I thought the same thing with Ninguang because I got her with my first 10 pull on the Noelle banner and had her in my party very early on, I took her out and forgot about it until I wondered one day why I didn't see the rock icons in the minimap anymore so I looked it up and figured it out.
Aloy's talent is also a lifesaver, "animals that can give you food wont flee from you" Timmie's pigeons are in mass danger.
Sayu has the same talent except with crystalflies
Also Yanfei..... not exactly sure what her official one is because she both does the same thing Qiqi does and also has a "can make a special dish" talent that pops up once and a while, so I don't know
all characters (with the exception of the raiden shogun for some reason) have a special dish.
qiqi's dish is come and get it, which means when she makes it, she has a possibility of making a signature dish (forgot the name lol)
this ability isnt specific to qiqi tho.
for example, razor's dish is mondstadt hashbrown. when he makes it, he has a chance of making the puppy paw hashbrown, his signature dish.
of course, there are talents like barbara's, which, if you are making a healing dish, might give you an extra dish. or talents like hu tao's, which might give you a suspicious dish (works on any)

(btw yanfei's talent is finding liyue materials on the minimap, not anything like what aloy or sayu does. however, if you have aloy or sayu in your party, the talent effect applies to the entire party, which may have been why you thought yanfei could do that)

I won't go forever, there may be a mega banner event somewhere around October. During the time you may get a chance to pull for every single character. Just my Honkai Impact experience. The banner for each group of characters last for about a week or so, then next batch follows. Or even better, they may allow you to choose the Up character, but this part is just my hope.

ngl the treasure talents are pretty useful. I know I could use an interactive map, but Klee's makes finding those damned mushrooms so much easier lmao. Also, I'm more likely to notice dandelions, valberries, wolfhooks, etc. because they show up on the map, that way I don't have to do a dedicated farming session. I just find that stuff as I go, and now I have hundreds. Ningguang's passive is slightly less useful, as I usually do dedicated crystal farming routes anyway, and the non-crystal ores aren't all that useful.
This would be useful if I HAD those characters

@@jesserioo4084 eh I don’t really think so, his specialty is Cold Noodles with Mountain Delicacies which should fit perfectly but aside from that and his over abundance of yang energy he doesn’t have any connection to the cold…aside from his Cryo Vision
I feel like it’d be better suited to Albedo because of the theory that he’s made of Chalk and therefore does not feel the cold and the fact that he’s stationed in Dragonspine, either Albedo or Eula as when Eula goes to Dragonspine in her story she says how someone of nobility should keep their composure even in the cold, a stretch yeah but it’s better than Chongyun
@@f.b.iagent3971 actually its said he has a naturally high body temperature so it would make sense that he's immune to the cold (it also explains that anything that raises his temperature further will make him go into his "rage" state like when he eats spicy food)

Sucrose's talent isn't better than Albedo's.
"Weapon and character ascension" is a different category than "weapon ascension."
WAM are the ones from domains, W/CAM are the ones that drop from enemies on the map.
Better to have % chance to get the core ascension material rather than getting an extra slime concentrate...
(And having 13% is better than NOT using it, but you need the char of course.)

Some days I log in earlier than others, especially on weekends, which makes it's nice to have the expeditions take less time so I can start them again. I won't log in again later on just to start new expeditions, so it's hardly useless.
In the case of Albedo and Sucrose, weapon "ascension" and weapon "enhancement" are different.

Yes. Weapon ascension from domains which requires resins while weapon enhancement can be farmed in the open world. Albedo's passive is superior.

It really just becomes useful if you have him as a burst damage dealer than main carry since you never really auto attack on supports.
The passive on childe is nice for himself though! You can get lvl 7 NA without using boss mats :)

1:32 This used to be the case actually, before 1.1 or 1.2 I believe. when characters were on expidition you couldnt use them, hence why some players still refer to their characters in "the mines" or "collecting rocks" for characters they dont like using, since they would be the ones sent on expeditions to gather ore.
ah yes, the old times, I still don't use characters I send to expeditions though, I feel weird when they are technically somewhere else but with me at the same time lol

Jean's signature dish is a recovery food (mushroom Pizza) and her passive doubles recovery food. she is the only character with a cooking talent that increases their signature dish outside.
i dont have qiqi or nigguang, but once i had the hand symbol on the mini map locating flowers and rocks in liyue. i forgor which character i put in my team, but it was really helpful for me. i changed my team one day and i was so confused as to why the hand symbol was not working anymore, i thought a glitch happened or something, so this video helped me figure out why🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍

as someone who logs in like once a day, i very often have 4 expeditions finished with 2-3 hours left on the 5th one, so it does make a difference every couple days for me. im not always 20 hours apart from gaming sessions and i sometimes dont play long enough to get that 5th one.

Yanfei and Klee are the best! Since I need monstadt specific objects a lot,I simply put her in my party and explore the areas in which the items are known to be found ^^// that's really helpful since I don't need to look up for the interactive map every now and then

Late reply, but Diona’s special dish is also a restorative dish, I’ve indeed had both bonuses stack before
I'm guessing the meta really shifted from back then compared to now. I never send expeditions out for ores, and I only send them for Mora. I always seem to be out of mora but never run out of ores and even if I do need to suddenly get some more even after I've harvested everything in my own world I can just go into another person's world.
(I started playing when there was 3 days left on Kokomi's 1st banner right before Childe's 3rd banner)
The anemo resonance is still more useful for combat, since it helps with charged attacks stamina consumption, which is a bit more important than running a little longer. Especially when you now the movement tech skip running, that lets you keep momentum with out any stamina left.

A bit of nuance: Mona's talent isn't necessarily worse than Albedo's in all cases.
If you need to craft two yellow materials and only have 5 purple ones, it's better to use Mona than Albedo.
Albedo has a 10% chance to give you the two yellows you need, whereas Mona has a 25% chance to give you an extra purple which will allow you to craft the second yellow material.
if monas 25% are like xingqius 25% i will (in case i ever get mona) still use albedo, because xingqius 25% succccccc

Kujou Sara also has decreased expedition time from Inazuma. And there was a point in the game where you couldn't take characters with your team if they were in an expedition.

ive taken chinese classes for 10 yrs & ongoing, u cant really describe it with english letters but the x is more in between s and sh, closer to s imo and the q is pronounced in between like a ts and ch, its not quite as deep as ch but also not as thin as ts

I personally main Childe and Venti works just as a support for me. So consider which one of them would make your gameplay easier and then roll for em :D

all of liyue's character names are in chinese and i've been speaking chinese for 13 yrs so uh here are the englishized pronunciations for reference (btw the "ō" indicates a long "o")
liyue: lee-yoo-eh
xingqiu: shing-chi-oh
beidou: bay-doh
chongyun: chōng-yoo-in
hu tao: hoo tao
keqing: kuh-ching
ningguang: ning-goo-ong
qiqi: chee-chee
xianging: shee-ong-ling
xiao: shee-ao
xinyan: sheen-yen
zhongli: jōng-lee
there are some chinese pronunciations that can't really be translated into english pronunciations (like the x and q) so i'd also recommend watching videos on how to pronounce it if you're dedicated or whatever

Xingqiu is pronounced “sing tsi-oh”. The “q” in mandarin is hard so an easier and closer pronunciation would be “sing ch-oh”.
Xinyan is also pronounced “sin-yan”
Shouldnt X in mandarin sound like "sh"? So it should be shin ch-oh. Well technically its not S or SH sound but more in between so good luck tumbling your tongue.
@@zjpdarkblaze There is already a Sh pinyin though, so if that were the case then his name would be spelled Shingqiu instead.
It also could be an accent thing as mandarin is widely used in south east Asia and China itself.

The expedition preventing the character from being available used to be true but they patched it pretty quickly considering how it made an already pretty bad passive actually detrimental if you use the characters it's on.
