The bottom line is, when you listen to it, you often find yourself feeling the song and thinking "Holy shit, someone put into words what I've been feeling lately".

My 14 year old son urged me to listen to this song, but he wouldn’t say why. After reading the lyrics, I’m a little concerned that the song may describe how my son feels, but can’t communicate to me. I’m speaking from a mother’s heart in this. Emotions aside, this is a terrifically well-written, thoughtful song, and Jake Hill is clearly very talented. I look forward to hearing more from him.
