An increasing number of games look like they will be behind different paywalls like Paramount now with these new deals. Bad sign for NBA as a brand that is already in decline in viewership. My guess is that the NBA will just continue to try and draw an increasing amount of dollars per lower amount of fans.

He's had a podcast for 2 years and nah.. It's really the 4 man dynamic that was special. Together, it's just magic.

As someone who’s is newer to the NBA I really always enjoy this crew. Really sad to mess up such a good show with great chemistry. Whether they end up with NBC or whoever I’ll find it through other means as it’s already almost prohibitively expensive for most people compared to other stuff. Another example of giant corporations only being interested in money and not what’s good for their users.

All the important NBA games are taken in the A, B, C packages bought by Disney/ESPN, NBC/Comcast & Amazon. It’s too bad. I’ve enjoyed Inside the NBA since Charles joined the show. Always thought the boys were a perfect foil to how serious sports are, just a cut to them and they're roasting someone on the court cause they're hitting bricks or something. No one is paying attention to ESPN because if you simply read stats and so on you get the jist of whatever garbage they say usually. I've always found this show garbage. The jokes and the behaviour is forced, sweaty, exaggarated etc. There is little entertainment value. The whole show is like the laugh track under a bad sitcom. And still I am kind of sad and tip my hat if it's over because it's been an institution of sorts.

ESPN has been complete trash and thier coverage of the NBA finals was horrible. The quality of reffing continues to go down the drain. I’m a diehard fan and i can’t even watch the games because the reffing is so bad and inconsistent. I only watch the playoffs (when my team is in them) because i need to see how it goes down but i still hate watching. Its clear to me that i am not the NBAs target audience as they much favor dummies who will bet thier life away gambling and gobble up those other commercials as well. I’ll miss these guys

I think it's fine, I love inside but at the same time I feel their time was coming, they are aging and work less, chuck wants to retire since forever and they won't catch lightning in a bottle all every time. Rather than have a watered down, mediocre product that will leave you longing for the OGs (like it already happens when that other dude hosts) I prefer to enjoy them one last season and move on.
We literally dont need the NBA. The 4 of them can do a podcast and cut out most of the fees and cash collecting clowns. Just use slowmo with a filter, and you can still use NBA footage under Fair Use.
