His right hand? Miracle! It knows to which point it must go straight.
I love this technique! I am using it with watercolors background and the results are so cool and unexpected!

Just lock your wrist, and let the arm do the line.. You will be making Straight lines in a few hours. :)

WOW. Just. WOW. You blew my mind just with the first few lines, drawn so precisely around the edge of the paper, then going into the center to make the diamond shape. I would absolutely need guidelines, and a ruler, and even then I'm not sure they'd come out so neat! LOL And then being able to draw the spirals all in one go... I've drawn those, but I'm constantly having to turn the paper to see what I'm drawing. Massive respect!
