I love the idea of this tournament arc that (probably) doesn't have world-ending stakes attached to it but still has me intrigued about the whole thing. The fights were a ton of fun and the commentator reacting to deaths and revives is such a nice little addition as well. Really hyped for savage now.
They had so much fun with this raid and I love every part of it.

They didn't have to but the announcer reacting to people doing things right or wrong, or dying, etc. is absolutely perfect for the theme and I hope it continues with the next two tiers so badly
It's such a great touch imo, just adds to the vibe and charm of the raids and is funny everytime I hear it
This raid has been the most fun I have had in combat content in a long while. I only question why we have to fight Monster Hunter's Kirin with a gun as the forth fight.
Shes tech ically ixion, but i cant unsee kirin either lol
She's so creative, I love how she just busts out a giant laser cannon and obliterates 3/4ths of the arena

Also yeah the Raid was super fun each fight was unique and the music was popping.
Thank you lol! If there is one thing I can do it's to be loud lol. I lowkey just want the next reset for another excuse to run this raid again lol
@@JMulls It might be a good idear to play them just to get used to em. I want to experiment specifically on the second boss when she gives line tethers to everyone if you could bait them out easier by having everyone on a individual slice of the arena OR perhaps have every stack on top of each other and just try to Mario kart them.

LOL, I'm just salty cause I had to level up black mage cause of my retainer 🤣
This entire raid tier can be summed up by "I'm not a furry, but..."
Its kinda sad they didn't leave the Viper LB3 as 'Jormungandr' in the English version.
These raids are sooooo good. After the crap MSQ, this is such a way to get me back into excitement for the game
The final fight was fun with a good song but for the most part, ya I agree. One giant fetch quest lol.
@@nicktaylor3445 The fights in MSQ were good. I despise Wuk Lamat as a character - and despising someone who has more lines than every other character combined makes that despising even worse. :D
@@TheWickedWizardOfOz1 that I can agree with. She was stale in the execution of her lines and having her do everything, while it made kinda sense, really made me not care too much about what happens. I was more invested in the end because we kinda became the main characters again......until phase 2 on the final fight.
Yeah the fights and raids so far in Dawntrail have been S tier imo, can't wait for the alliance raid
@@JMulls I'm also interested in how it'll go. All I know is it's based off of FF11
I did the first raid today and loved it, they went hard with the instance design in dawntrail so far.
So lets just say I stayed up a little later than I normally do to play through the first three sections of this raid on release and yes I did loose a few course of sleep as I didn’t go to bed until 5:00 am but I regret nothing
And yet they still don’t have blitzball
They will never have Blitzball.
Be great if they did tho.. like a blitzball based raid
Complaining about summoner in dawntrail when someone is playing a black mage...
LOOK... I can't say anything about black mage since I had to level the thing since one of my retainers is a black mage 🤣
