You're not going crazy! This video was reuploaded after a power outage cut the upload short and the last ~20 minutes were lost, so I deleted the video. THEN I lost power for 39 more hours and couldn't reupload it until today. #SouthAfrica
Paradigm change! You CANNOT have your fuel mix at -200C post atmo change. The O2 and VOL will start to sublimate and separate into gasses and ice. Better to keep the fuel mix around 0C-ish.
I think you would really like those borderless flat panels as a path, as opposed to the grating, as well as a grey instead of blinding white. What you're missing is some sort of physical delineation between path and not-path. I bet if you used the 4 quarter section panels as not-path and the smooth panels as path, you would find it more visually pleasing. I do a lot of visual design in block games, and smooth pathing surrounded by roughness is always preferable visually. I dunno if walls can be used as floors, considering how freehand the rotation is I would hope so. The wiki refers to them as flat panel wall kit and small panels wall kit. The actual physical walls I think would look best as wall kit plating, and the ceiling as wall kit panel.
@@LargelyUnemployed Yes the temperatur has an efect on pressure, but like i saied, it is the amount of moles in the system that influences the amount of energy it needet to warm up, in other words: the more moles u have the more heat u need u can test it with two systems, one larger and one smaller, at the same temperature and same pressure, then just look how much energy is needet to warm both up to a certain temperature seperatly
@@melodie9012 ah, I see, I mixed up my units in the video. Yes, I understand that the pressure of a chamber does not directly represent the amount of energy needed to change the temperature of that chamber! That is determined by the mass and thermal conductivity of the substance you are trying to heat. I think I was referring to pressure because that is the unit that was visible on the display, and because I was very tired when I made this 😉
Is it worthwhile to run a heat exchanger between your chilled nitrogen line and your mixed fuel line as a safety measure? You mentioned the fuel being at an uncomfortably high temperature, and I would think that with the vacuum and the fact that you're only producing fuel as needed, the chill ought to be relatively effective and efficient. Or not. There's something to be said for shaking hands with danger. Really enjoyed this series and Europa-- would love to see what sort of challenge Venus or Vulcan would offer. Keep up the great content!

8:36 message to the devs, keep the screen the way it is, immersion and realism in games like this are dropping so much and it would honestly be such a shame to see your game devolve into just another "mars survival" clone
I have to disagree. The current iteration adds little to the immersion and feels like a frustrating oversight to me. Can you imagine doing the IC programming like this? Miserable! I do agree though that it would be much cooler to keep it in-world, but they'd need to update the interface then. A simple search bar would be perfect!

41:15 - putting down 4 Silo's for the ice types would of been amazing there
Ok, i thought that it wasnt supposed to be 23 minutes. I hope youre feeling better and you are able to rest enough!

Oh I love that idea. I can always repurpose the grating for the service tunnels too!
"if we can get this up to like 50 MegaPascalls" .. sure just keep in mind that the system will explode at 50 MPa .... XD
Nope, it can handle 60!
well i didn't test it, but what i can say is: it is not the pressure that handels the temperatur well but the total moles in the system
Temperature directly affects pressure! Especially after the new atmospherics update.

Definitely a good idea prior to the new atmospherics update. Now it would just turn to liquid and explode!
23:30 you put fuel pump instead of fuel display on D3, I think that's why it kept turning the pump off
you could put walls in front of the silo's and put the signs on them and they would float next to the silo's
yesssss you're right
6:43 oh i am!!! lol
I wonder if you could add some unconnected wires or pipes to use as a signpost
Or just a wall in front would work!
Did this video disappear for a while? I started to watch it the other day... Then when I went to finish the video, I was unable to find it
Yes! The upload was cut short by a power outage and the last half was missing. This is a fix.
@@LargelyUnemployed ah.... Thank you for the clarification.
any chance you will be working on the terraform live streams again? with or with out elmo?
Probably not with the new atmospherics update. No idea if the mod even works anymore
@@LargelyUnemployed that's a little saddening i was enjoying that series
@@danfadge sorry mate, plenty more content around here though!
Get a battery back up. UPS.
u missed the link for the Code in description
Thank you! Here You go steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2429264499
you set the display but used fuel pump thats why it did not work
Yeah figured it out eventually
