so, let me get this straight, the purpose of this show was to set the beginning of the multiverse? To introduce the character of kang, even if he was a variant? How silly of me to think that a show called “loki” would be about loki, what was I thinking? 🙄
Rip to my baby, he isn’t dead (well, HE is), they just completely murdered his character 😭
I just want to hug Tom, he did an incredible job with the script they gave him, and they listened only to the 5% of what he wanted for the character he played for like ten years…. I’m so sorry for him right now, he and loki deserve the world (and better showrunners for sure)

This video was AMAZING. You are an editing genius. I read how you felt about how the first season went down and I understand you but imo I loved how they managed to tell a relevant story to the MCU and still focus it on Loki. It was expertly written and it showcased character growth. Let's be honest here, Loki was a shit being, there's no amount of trauma that could've excuse his actions, he was untrustworthy and self-serving. So he needed to learn from pain, from his experiences, the experiences of his variants and the experience of someone who helped him without judgment (Mobi). They made incredible parallels. Loki did learned, grew and tried his best but failed, and Sylvie did exactly what he did to Thor so many times. I loved the show because Loki became a collective rather than a single character. The best part is that even when he was heartbroken and betrayed he recovered and was ready to take action, to talk to Mobi, to do something. That's growth too. Now I'm extremely happy we're getting the 2nd season because we need more exploration. Not only for him and how he deals with this new fucked up situation but for Sylvie too... Whom I see in a similar position than the Loki of the main timeline. Alone, incapable of trust, betraying those who loved her. Ooooofffff I'm so so so so sorry if I went on a rant here but I actually loved the show. I like subtle storytelling rather than on your face type of stories. I love you. You're the best editor. 💚💚💚💚💚

Second, I agree with you, I love loki, but yes, he did A LOT of terrible things, which I can understand are mostly result of his trauma but still are not forgivable, so I liked that he wanted to become someone better, someone who could do good things, not only bad, someone who could be trusted by the people he loves... even if, personally, I prefer him as an anti-villain than a "hero" (but I love him anyway hahah 💚)
My main problem with the show is how they showed us his development, or how abruptly they decided to changed loki's personality.
I mean, in the first two episodes he sounded a lot like ragnarok!loki which we "saw" become like this after a looooong time and many experiences. To me (all of this is my personal opinion obv), it felt a little bit odd, considering that we were actually looking at avengers!loki. In addition, with the introduction of sylvie, I felt like the focus of the show was more on her and the multiverse than him (NO hate on sylvie, I really liked her character and I actually wanted to know more about her c:)
Even with the other variants he kinda looked more "plain", which is a pity since this is was the first time in which they could have focused more on his character alone, without him depending on his other relationships (frigga, odin, thor, asgard, thanos etc)
I heard we'll see him in multiverse of madness/doctor strange 2 (I don't know if it's true, though, it's only a rumor for now) and, If it's true, I really can't wait to see him, strange and wanda together 🥰
Regarding the second season I too hope they're going to explore more the characters, especially sylvie (I want to know more about her life and nexus event), and also I hope we'll have our mobius back ç-ç
Also, I wish some happines for loki, I think now he deserves it
