Tyfs. Brings back such memories. Loved seeing the wrapping paper. Remember all, brought tears. Miss my grandparents, and other family members. Loved that we also have video tapes. Merry Christmas 🤶
We had that popcorn popper we used it a lot when we had a fire in our fireplace at our home and had popcorn .. it works very well! Thank you to your dad for that invention👏🏼👍
Man, that projector noise was annoying...and nostalgic. Thanks for this lovely video of a far-off Christmas when I was but a lad of seven...and which was posted on my 56th birthday. Merry Christmas all, 2021.
@prometheusunbound7628, an old projector sound, makes it all the more nostalgic. I wish we could go back to the film strip, not to mention the chime, to indicate its time to move on to the next segment, anytime when we saw a film in school, and most funny was about 😁 half of us were either practically snoring or looking like zombies with saucer-like eyes trying to stay awake for the presentation in a darkened classroom. 😴
I was 16 in 1972. Those were the best Christmas's ever. I miss that time of my life.
Monday 1972, spent the day at my girlfriend's house, wonderful memories.
My son was born in ‘72, loved watching this!! Great memories
….. memories are the one thing that no one can take away from u! ♥️
I got married in 1972 after I graduated from high school in Indiana. This film brings back fond memories. Thank you for sharing!!!
Back when we still ironed and smoked inside the house. So long ago😢this was such a wonderful walk back in time…thank you
I love that the dogs got Christmas presents. What a nice family. Lots of smiles and love could be felt watching this. Thank you for sharing. 🥰💖🎄🐕🐕🎁
Great to see the dogs sharing in the festivities.
A story in three acts. Amazing how much can be conveyed without words. This is great. Thanks.
People talking with one another and no one plastered to a cellphone.
Christmas 1972,
My younger brother and parents were still alive then. Good times Then and this video lets me time travel so thank you!
What a wonderful Christmas they had ! And the doggies having Christmas too was precious !

It was fun watching this.
Wow! My dad designed that popcorn popper hanging on their fireplace! He won an award for it. I about cried when I saw it there. 👀🙌🏻
That's so cool. It's an impressive design.

I was 2-years-old at Christmas 1972. Have family photos from that same day.
Wow different faces but everything else is my past.

Love this ! Didnt know elf on a shelf was that old lol
That’s what I thought!
Yup it was just another toy for us. We always had the hand puppets. 🎄
This was nice love fireplace n dogs.🤟🎄
Love it. An early example of an elf on the mantle, over one roaring fire 🔥.
I remember how bright that light was and the way the screen smelled when my dad would bring out the projector...54 yrs old...
Packages under the tree like that..it just said home
Love it 😊😊😊
That "elf on shelf" was made out of cloth & bendable also came in green as leprechauns ah the 50s&60s!!🙂🙂🙂
I turned 11 years old in November 1972
Home footage at a time when I was little more than a toddler (two and a half). Too young for me to understand or remember!
Even the men got scented gifts like the aftershave they were trying on.😎
I was 2 months old back then
Same! I was exactly 2 months old on Xmas day 1972
Elf on a shelf!!!
Does anyone but me remember the lights for those old movie cameras ? I swear you could bake a cake with those things
Nice, thanks!
🎄👍🏼
The cheesy dubbed in projector sound sounds like a drill! 😂😅
Was this film taken on Christmas Eve? It appears the sun was out at the beginning, then it got darker outside.
I was 14 then.
Me too.
No children?
