Why does All Might name his smashes after American citys? He's Japanese right? Nationality, not just cause he's in anime
I would look it up but I'm afraid of spoilers. I think it's because he spent a lot of time in the states, and he was a hero in the USA for a time with the dude who was in the first movie. I'm sure its deeper than that but that's all I can recall.
He really likes America, and like Bojangles said, he spent time there. It's his way of paying tribute.
