Yes, singers need to be considerate of others when practising, as you are likely to drive them into murderous rage with the effect your "art"??? has on their ears. An onslaught. I once lived in a crowded inner city apartment block where a singer who was not going to stop her vocal exercises until she got famous got "famous" faster than she believed possible, as did her angry old man "co star" neighbour who chased her around the stairways with a baseball bat, threatening to shut her up to get some quiet. All the residents came out to ""see the show". I heard one yell across another wing of the complex "The show's coming to your stairwell, quick, and you will catch them performing, live..." By now the old man was livid and the si ger sobbing in pain and misery at being so downtrodden. He was threatening to also "get" all yhe rest of the neighbours laughing at this pair. But, yeah, comical as it looked, it was really quite a serious problem, in a built up urban type residential area. Buying your mum her favourite heavy rock, metal or rapping recording to drown out your vocal exercising won't help. You'll focus on her favourite music blasting away and won't be able to hear your own very off singing. Which might not feel too bad. Because it is only what we know that can hurt us, really... "Hey, you! Get offa my cloud! Hey, you! Get offa my cloud! Don't hang around, 'cos....etc etc". Old Rolling Stones heavy rock song about the hassles of noise and aggravation in modern high rise urban apartments... Very true, even in this current era with the trend to cram as many people as possible into as little land space as possible, selling cubes of air to maximise real estate gains for greedy property developers, who probably reside in massive country mansions inremote, spacious, beautiful localities themselves and have a few spacious luxury apartments for when they must come to the city, to sell more, trade on the Commodities Markets etc.

@precious1918 It improved most quickly at the beginning, and I believe the most noticeable improvement in the latter months was my stamina, but I stopped doing belts and have been focusing on singing in the high parts in my standard range (E2 - E4) with less tension, nowadays. I realize belts are more of an intermediate to advanced exercise, and even though I practiced a year straight beforeheand, I still was missing something. But this exercise helped for sure! Highly recommend it.

i think itd be helpful if you could have a moment for people to breathe in between cause it could ruin peoples techniques not having that stable breath support. also i think the range is so expanded that someone that wouldnt know would just keep on singing and ruin their voice because they think they should. Ive found some other youtubers separate the exercises by voice type that way its more catered to them. i feel like this kinda promotes some bad habits. anyways im just saying and providing feedback. hope youll take it into consideration!

Good point. Unless you know what you're doing and how to safely challenge yourself when up to a certain stage of your vocal development, you do need to start gently and slowly, to avoid vocal damage. It would be like a very unfit, untrained athlete suddenly expecting to perform great physical feats of speed, agility, strength, endurance etc when their muscles have yet to buildup to it. Because singers and musicians, too, all use muscles, too andneed speed, power,
agility etc to perform artistic feats. You just don't see theses on artists. They are internal, invisible, butyou csn sure feel them working or being overused, abused etc. Eg the voice is just a set of muscles. Vocal cords are muscle. So is your diaphragm and breathing parts eg lungs, muscles around rib bones etc. You need to build these up to perform at certain levels of challenge. Wind players have strong lip and mouth muscles, gutarists and keyboard players have them in their fingers and hands, drummers in their arms and feet, dancers use more muscles than other musical artists, ifyou can call them musical at all, because, like drummers, they are often tone deaf to pitch or harmonies, but can hear or, rather, physically feel every subtle beat variation, rhythm etc. They are living rhythm machines. The golden rule I was told by old Italian singers who passed down the all but lost art of BelCanto is: Easy and gentle does it. If it starts to hurt or strain, you are doing it wrong. Stop. Rest. Try a gentler, softer approach. To avoid vocal damage.
This is often hard, despite good intentions, because, unlike musicians, who can see their instrument and where they are plunking down their fingers and adjust their technique if it sounds wrong, the singer can't see their voice, can't put their fingers on it, to play it right. They can't even hear themselves as others do. Unless they dare to record themselves or request homest, even if cruel feedback and get a more accurate idea of just how good or crap they sound. Suggest you avoid doing this unless brave enough to hear just how crap you sound and then not give up in despair, but work on how to sound better. It can be pretty emotionally damaging ie to your confidence and ego. But it might save your poor battered, abused vocal cords from further damage, from trying to do too much, too fast, too hard, too long, too everything. Just got to be an instant, famous singing star, sensation, right now, because there's this BIG song that no wiser seasoned singer would take on, because they know they are not up to its vocal challenges and it will damage their voice, if they attempt it. But some inexperienced young beginners simply can't wait. Must be famous. Want it now. They may impress a few who cannot tell the difference btween goodor bad singing, which, incidently, also applies to the wildest, most feral of rock, metal or similar rough modern music styles, which also involve much rehearsing and practice to sound as they do eg the perfectly rythmically, clealy articulated obscenities etc of some rap performers actually takes hours of practice to avoid jumbling up your words, so the violent, obscene or or whatever message they wish to convey is clearly and explicitly and accurately articulated. I personally am no fan of such a style, but can tolerate some of it, in very small doses, for special effects, inserted into another song. But I can tell it requires considerable skill to rap. It is very hard to do right, even as a trained singer, asyou soon discover, if you try to rap at the high speed these performers do, never missing even half a beat, because all you have, typically is a bit of basic rhythm beat as accompaniment. Nothing else, like a guitaris or keyboard playong a few notes to cover up for your occasional missed beat, wrong note pitch etc.and trying to stay on the same repeated pitch as rapoers typically do, om and on and on, is in itself a challenge, requiring great will power to never get off that same monotonous repeated pitch and beat they recite to. I say recite, not sing, because what they are actually doing is like rhythmic recital of words to a beat, like a kind of poetry, typically about negative topics, in a vocal tone that, in a low key manner, expresses how they feel about a few "issues", typically societal type dysfunctional ones. To get it off their chests. It has something in common withstyles like street flamenco and all the wailing etc these poor gypsy types do about "dog's life" as underdogs of society and geeling kicked around, looked down upon by conventional society, continually moved on because their presence is typically associated with crime and trouble. If you find it hard to sing in tune or change pitches but can articulate words quickly and clearly to a set repetitive rhythm and stick to the same pitch and never get emotionally out of control, no matter how angry what your song is about makes you feel, then forget trying to sing. You might have more talents as a hip hop performer. And some like such a style.

A quick story for those reading the comments:
Once upon a time in a quaint little village nestled between rolling green hills, there lived a girl named Lily. Lily had an angelic voice that could enchant anyone who heard her, including the animals. Every morning, she would wander into the forest and serenade her friends-the wise old owl, the mischievous squirrel, and the gentle deer.
One sunny afternoon, as Lily was singing a sweet lullaby to her animal friends, they heard a strange melody drifting through the trees. Following the sound, they stumbled upon a tiny, golden door hidden at the base of an ancient oak tree. Intrigued, Lily pushed the door open and found herself in a magical world filled with creatures she had never seen before.
A friendly dragon named Drako greeted her. "Welcome, Lily! We’ve been expecting you," Drako said with a warm smile. He explained that this was the Enchanted Forest, a place where all the fairy tales lived. But the forest was in trouble; a grumpy giant had stolen the magical Singing Crystal that kept the forest alive with music and joy.
Determined to help, Lily teamed up with Drako, the owl, and the squirrel. They embarked on a thrilling adventure, solving musical riddles, dodging traps that reacted to sound, and outsmarting trolls with clever songs. Along the way, they met a brave knight with a powerful voice, a clever fairy with a lilting laugh, and a funny talking mushroom who could beatbox.
After many musical escapades, they reached the giant's lair at the top of a tall, craggy mountain. Using her angelic voice and the help of her new friends, Lily devised a plan. They created a harmonious diversion, with the fairy and the knight performing a beautiful duet while Lily and the squirrel sneaked in and retrieved the Singing Crystal.
With the crystal back in its rightful place, the Enchanted Forest was once again filled with music. Flowers danced, trees swayed to the rhythm, and birds sang along. The creatures of the forest threw a grand celebration in Lily’s honor, with everyone joining in a joyful symphony.
When it was time to return to her village, Lily bid farewell to her magical friends, promising to visit again. As she stepped back through the golden door, she felt a sense of fulfillment and joy, knowing she had brought music back to the forest.
From that day on, Lily's adventures in the Enchanted Forest became legendary, and she was known far and wide as the girl who saved the fairy tales with her song. And every now and then, when the villagers heard her singing to the animals, they would smile, knowing that Lily's heart was forever intertwined with magic and music.
