Yes, the navy has documentary stuff about multiple classes of recruits on their channel etc. Because Taeyong is in this particular class the bits of footage with him is getting copied and passed around more but they do make videos like this for all their training groups. I imagine it would be quite helpful to people enlisting or their families to know what to expect as well.

The reason you see so much content of Taeyong in the military is because he's in the navy. He's only the 2nd idol whose gone into the navy so people wren't used to it, but the Korean Navy apparentyl heavily records and documents their training process. And i believe he's a platoon leader so it just naturally means we see him more than we've seen other idols in the military.

As others have noted, the Navy releases weekly videos documenting their training, so the Taeyong clips you see are compiled cuts from those videos.
Also, now that he has graduated, he is a public relations officer for the Cultural Promotional Division (aka the Navy Band that he auditioned for), so I’m sure we will continue to see him!

4:33 Navy enlistment in Korea is really hard and the navy life in general is the toughest out of all branches in the military. Which is why most people don't apply for it and even fewer end up getting recruited. They release videos weekly on navy life as a marketing strategy to give people insights of the navy life so that more and more people apply for it. Even release interview videos from navy cadets which is why we see a lot of Taeyong content, plus he is a platoon leader too so ends up getting highlighted as well.

Regarding the clips of Taeyong's enlistment everywhere on social media, that's because he's in the Navy. The Navy has always documented their training. There are even tons of videos on the Republic of Korea Navy RUclips channel dated 10-11 years ago. You probably haven't seen it before because very few idols (like a handful) have served in the Navy to date.
