I am applying from US at the Kenyan embassy to renew my old passport ( the old kind) that expired more than 10yrs ago.
I don't have a recommender who can sign documents. Does this person have to be a Kenyan citizen?
I am also unable to pay online because it won't accept my debit card.
How do I fix these issues?

For payment use a kenyan who is here to pay for u online the one you can trust. Look for any kenyan person near you who knows about you to sign and give you a copy of his ID. The process of renewing is the same as applying for new one only few things changes. Anyway for more info text me

Yes after a recommender signing the application form. Go with his or her ID copy too.
