He’s so naturally charming. Totally carries himself with confidence and comfort. Such a nice man as well, I could listen to him getting interviewed for hours.
Yeah I mean even during his weak years in 2010-2012 he was still all smiles and his analyses were so much more interesting than the common stuff that we heard from the rest of the field. Bar his friend Seb Vettel of course, he was also class and didn't bullshit either.
3:20 EXACTLY THIS!!! What he's telling us here! This how the current media is. This is also how the fans judge F1 drivers.... and teams as well.... HATE on Vettel, HATE on Hamilton, HATE on Schumacher, HATE on Verstappen, HATE on Mercedes, HATE on RedBull, all because of their performance, dominace and confidence. (instead it's just perceived as arrogance and unddeserved luck which it isn't. All of the guys behidn the wheel and in the factory work extremely hard). All becaue they're portrayed in a bad light and dehumanized by those assholes with their microphones (not saying all journalists are bad, I like David of course and several other ex-F1 drivers, it's most of all those elevated hype spectactors that don't have even tried a race car in their useless lives).
Interviews like this and others, really make me question just what his current state is and if he has recovered a bit more than we know. Deciding to live a quiet life out of the spotlight, with all the trappings of fame left behind. Probably wishful thinking. I mean no disrespect. The man was my childhood hero and the reason I started watching F1 and didn't miss a race for 22 years and only stopped watching at the start of 2019 when it became apparent Mercedes dominance wasn't going to be disrupted with rule changes like Ferrari's and Red Bull's was.
I can't see it. He likes his privacy, but he's more of a family man, and I think even if he had the mental capacity to attend a race weekend, he'd be there.
My father suffered a massive stroke he was in non medical terms a vegetable there was no recovery only keeping him comfortable and I believe Michael is too not able to recover
Thats not just a racer thats an intelligent man

@@Firemarioflower Seb learned a lot from Schumi regarding how to treat team workers, mechanics, and fans.
Missed this back in the day, I went off F1 for a while. Great interview part 1 & 2.

I can’t imagine he would do that to his family especially now his son is in f1. He is still my hero, even more so off the track.

You missed a lot!!! 2019 was very exciting as Mercedes didn't dominate quite everywhere
Very intelligent man
typo, I meant 7:00, saying he was happy being away from F1. "It is not what I am looking for." He so clearly wanted to be back in F1.
5:00 onwards.... is he just lying to himself? bloody glad to have him back though!!
so did lauda
don't forget Mansell's comeback where he actually won the world championship.
dc acting like reporter with ms LOL
