Thank you for this video. How can you differentiate the swim bladder issue vs. a fish that is not pooping. The symptoms seem to be the same, but the treatments are different.
I haven't used that medicine..so I cannot comment on that... Use a thermometer to keep the temperature at 30 degrees... All heaters dont cut of the right temperature
there are many brands like ocean free which manufacture yellow powder which is a antibiotic similar to tetracycline. tetracycline is available at medical shops. tetracycline works good only against bacterial disease . it can cure both external as well as internal infection . above video treats swimbladder infection which is a internal infection
Why my betta fish died after using doxydar (doxycline) I had 100mg and I used half tge powder for 2 glasses of water and left it for over night ?? Can anybody explain
Completely wrong way to do the treatment..and Betta cannot handle doxycycline... And in 2 glasses of water with no aeration it definitely not survive... And 100 mg🤷... Kindly don't do such things and kill a life 🙏
Betta is a small fish.mit cannot handle that kind of dosage... 2 glass of water is not even 1 liter or water and in that water volume you cannot have aeration... Kindly don't do these things 🙏...
Hi Rahul. I got 4 new discus around 2 weeks ago. 3 are doing fine since day one but 1 of them has not eaten since first day. I have done metro treatment for 10 days. Yesterday did PP for 1st time . But this fish not eating. It looks fine overall just not accepting food. Giving blood worms and tetra bits for now. Changing water everyday and tds 200. Rest all fishes doing good
Please ask the breeder from whom you bought what they were feeding the fish... If it has been eating heart mix it will not accept other foods easily... And if your fishes are fine why do treatments? And why 10 days of metro... ? Metro is done for a maximum 5 to 6 days... And after that pp why?

Hey...for not pooping you can try with Epsom salt... Which will help clear out the system...

Not tried it on arowana... But dropsy is fat built up above the eye... It's not an infection...

I got some from Australia.
Yeah, in Australia we have tetracycline more available and none of the medications mentioned overseas haha
