I’ve been reading Matthew’s blog for several years and it’s really worth seeking out. He’s a good man who made mistakes that contributed to a traumatic divorce and is using that experience to help other couples strengthen and repair their marriages. Little things like not cleaning up behind ourselves can add to bigger things. It can lead to other situations.
Sounds like the "Broken Windows" theory applied to personal relationships.
I agreed with him 100%. Tend your weeds before it get out of control. Little things do matter a lot.
