For me, the ideas in ruclips.net/user/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Nice detail on the type x drywall on the rim between the units... usually framers don't do this and someone else has to cut little squares of drywall and fire foam it into the joist bay. So it's cool to see that and how much easier it is.
Any chance you could refer to prints when first laying out for joists and trusses? I think it would be cool if you showed how you find numbers when laying out as that would really help someone first starting out. Maybe you have, I've watched quite a few of your videos when I'm not doing side work, but if not again would be really cool.
I think the separation of the two units should at a minimum two standard interior walls with a 1" air gap but I'm not sure what the building codes are in the frozen tundra of Canada?!?
The rock salt is perplexing me. What does that do? When I grew up in upstate NY, it was used to melt ice. I’m a Floridian now so I really don’t get why it’s there.
It might *sound* like "rock salt," but it's actually ROXUL Mineral-Rockwool ® 60 Acoustic Insulation. And it's not only for acoustic insulation, but it's fire-rated, too.

looked like he toe nailed along the outside down into the mud sill and end nailed into the 2x3 part of the joists. Its near the beginning of the previous episode I think.
You need to install a live surveillance camera so we can all check in from time to time so in case you fall and don't get up we can call 911 or whatever the number is in Canada...
The first city in North America to use a central emergency number was the Canadian city of Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1959, which instituted the change at the urging of Stephen Juba, mayor of Winnipeg at the time. Winnipeg initially used 999 as the emergency number, but switched numbers when 9-1-1 was proposed by the United States.

Man after watching your videos I'm getting one of those paslodes. That thing puts in work!!
They're like the AK of nail guns! You can't break em !
@@Thecrazyframer much better for framing in the cold Canadian winters than the dewalt that's forsure!
Great camera angles, thanks.
.....aint seen one set of plans on any of crazy framers shows yet !...luv this guy, a buildin budha
those "I" beam joists are pretty impressive, for how light they are they will hold a lot of weight.
They’re nice but boy do they fail quick in a fire
Te felicito amigo, eres muy bueno en tu trabajo.
You can't end a video without your famous saying!! What are you thinking dude? ;) Love the builds.

@@FloridaTwoWheelAdventures LOL No worries! *Confession: My perhaps 'unfair advantage' is that I'm half-Canadian ... and also hail from Upstate NY!

Why the 3/4 OSB on top of the plate?
Do you supply nails, glue and hangers when you quote these builds or all supplied?
I just finished watching season 2 the other day and thought i would watch other videos. And then season 3 comes out. dangit.
Why add the drywall on the rim joist? Won't it mold if it gets moisture on it? Any reason to do that instead of just spacing it with OSB/plywood?
Fire rating.
Just wondering do you align the knockout holes in the joists for plumbers and electricians ?
Sure he does...basic stuff.
I usually hate when i get ads on videos but for you i wouldnt even enjoy to see more man, keep it going
doing taxes for the past 2 weeks ... missing all this good stuff... should have it done soon... either that or im screwed heh
