@@leneushesaid I believe we are only only a few of the very many lovers of those narrators for the reasons you give ! I had the chance to live in England from 1974 through 1975, and enjoyed the people so much, and gave me a new understanding of the people Agatha grew up with ! If only one didn’t have to listen to commercials. 🙏❤🇨🇦🥰

: Joan Hickson is the official Marple as far as I’m concerned. She was personally selected by Christie herself decades before the show, and that carries heft. Hickson’s portrayal was dead-on, too.
