R.I.P. Ed Bishop Your career brought joy and enjoyment to millions of children, and adults.
What I remember most from Terrahawks was the voice of Windsor Davis and the 'Noughts & Crosses' game at the end of every episode.
Windsor Davies as Sergeant Major Zero! He was my favourite character.
I didn't know there was a Seahawk design, great to see that, and loved the artist's impression!
If UFO and Terrahawks share a universe, I think what we as a society need is a spin-off where Commander Straker and Stew Dapples team up to fight crime.

The idea of UFO and Terrahawks co-existing is certainly a novel one. But then you go and mention Bereznik at the end! Ooohhhh boy, that's going to be an interesting one to plot timeline for!
Straker's reporting in 2020 so UFO, Space:1999 and Joe 90 have already happened and Terrahawks is underway.
@@ACtheLegend Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. It's just tonally the shows feel quite different to each other, but there again, real life is hardly tonally consistent either! How did the moon situation get sorted out?

Both Battlehawk and Spacehawk are my favourite Terrahawk vehicles.
I love the fact that Straker would be aware of these other organizations formed to fight beings from another planet long after SHADO ceased. Does that mean the Terrahawk Organisation is an advanced version of that organisation??? They certainly share some simularities.
It has never been implied that SHADO was ever decommissioned as an organization, but there mission might have evolved. Though with the lose of the moon in 1999 and the Mars threat, SHADO could be retooling in case they are needed.
I do love the Battlehawk, it's my favourite Terrahawks vehicle!
Excellent! I was particularly pleased with the mention of the rogue nation 'Bereznik', as featured in several comic strips (mainly 'Lady Penelope' and 'Thunderbirds') in the 'TV21' comic.
I wonder if Ed Straker would have asked to see Agent 21 about the Bereznik alert?

Battlehawk ferrying Terrahawk is like how the B747 would carry the orbiter of Space Shuttle. Amazing how Terrahawk controlled the power for Battlehawk
Nice.any plans too do more spectrum units like cloudbase or the red cars they used?
Would need to clear it with Colonel White again, stay tuned.

When the house splits open to allow Battlehawk to launch, what happens to all of the stuff inside the house? Like, what if Kate Kestrel's playing the piano in the living room at that precise moment?
That really used to bother me when I was little...
We do see the result of that in one episode!
usually ends up in a huge mess. unless everything's stuck down with really strong glue :)

The episode A Christmas Miracle is the only episode that does not feature a Noughts and Crosses game. I have the models of the Battlehawk, Hawkwing, Spacehawk and Treehawk.I also have the series on DVD, a novel, two annuals and a storybook. Rolls Royce had to approve the designs of Hudson and FAB 1.
That narrator was good, but sounds and looks as much like Commander Straker as I do.
So is this the model that just got auctioned off?

The BATTLEHAWK And This Show Itself Should Be About A Futuristic Army/Navy/Airforce Team Lead by These TERRAHAWK Specialists Which Maybe It Is.
What I’d like to know is two questions.
1. How does he know about these other organizations?
2. What happened to joe ?
1. He's head of the World Security Service, he knows everything.
2. That's classified.
Photonic drive? Wouldn't that burn holes in the launch bay?
Depends entirely what the launch bay is made of ;)
I can't understand why they don't deploy and recover the tank via the rear cargo bay ramp.
Tactically that would leave them wide open, deployment time is much faster dropping it from the ventral bay.
@@ACtheLegend I take your point, but if the LZ is that hot, even getting in low enough to drop the tank would endanger the carrier. Also, the retrieval seems over complicated. Assuming that the shooting has stopped, there should be no problem landing the carrier to let the tank use the 'tradesman's entrance.'
@@frankberry9642 could be used for confined spaces LZs I guess.
@@ACtheLegend An interesting hypothesis, but again, would the tank not be able to drive to a more open plain? I thought I'd watched every episode of the Terrahawks but I can't remember ever seeing the tank being hoisted. It was a long time ago, however, so it's possible I've forgotten. I'm just imagining the fun trying to snag something that's directly under your craft, even if there's a camera that lets you see the hook.
@@frankberry9642 it was never shown on screen so your memory isn't cheating you there, but it was part of the design, shown in various concept storyboards.
Why no Russian, or United State's in any of these fictictional univers.

@StolenEyes you should give the audio dramas a go, some of the finest drama to ever come out of the Anderson stable. Made me weep at times, something Thunderbirds never managed.
@StolenEyes The thing that Terrahawks failed to do that other series succeeded is that even as an adult they were enjoyable.
I’m finding it disturbing that your still using the late great Ed bishop ,it just me maybe sorry if you think I’m wrong .
