When I first heard Elvis singing this song it totally blew me away. His voice his spirit and his soul really came out in this song. He didn't just sing this song bcuz he loved it. He loved it bcuz that was his heart and soul talking to the world. He actually felt that way. He put so much emotion into that song. He was so genuine. Such a beautiful human being.

Elvis was 1 in a million. Out of this world, God-given talent. That was his peak, you could see how much he loved being back in front of a live audience doing what he was made to do. Bring the roof down, blow the doors off!! Greatest of all time!!
I actually got to see Elvis perform live 4 times with the first one being in Las Vegas in 1969 when I was 2 years old. I don't remember anything about that performance obviously. but the other 3 performances from 1975-1977 that I was in the audience for his performances in Baton Rouge, LA (twice) and in Mobile, AL (once) still have left a most impressionable and awesome experience that I will never forget. His voice alone could fill up the ENTIRE arena when he performed. And his stage presence and charisma has never been matched. Add to that his backing groups and orchestra, and it made for one of the best concert experiences that anyone could ever imagine possible. Elvis was and will always be an unstoppable musical force.
Elvis was definitely at his best late 50s early 60s and from 1968 to 1970 anyway this is a beautiful rendition Rich powerful but melodious and quite operetic a tremendous performance he did it again in 1972 but vocally and physically he was much better in 1970 nothing better than Elvis in his prime years great video thank you
