  • Join me for a week of 10k training leading up to my 1st 10k race in almost a year! The Panerathon in Youngstown, OH is a very popular race in the area, with more than 600+ competitors in the 10k race alone! Proceeds benefit the local breast cancer center in the area. After seeing my aunt overcome breast cancer in the past year, this race was even more meaningful to participate in once again. This race will be further preparation as I gear up for a much bigger 10k race very soon and my first half marathon in years!
My training week started with a track workout followed up with some easy miles, cross training, and strength before race day!

Base mileage is good for a beginner. I have been running for a realllllly long time and worked with several coaches over that time period. Mixing up your training at some point will boost your fitness more.
