I got my masseters done for the first time a couple months ago. My lower face slimmed down and no saggy jowls! I did, however, notice my temples were working harder when I chewed. My injector never mentioned that some people only have to have it once. Did she mean only one masseter Botox injection and that muscle doesn’t ever get larger again? Like ever?
oh yay, I'm so excited to see the results in a few weeks! and yeah I'm noticing my lower jaw muscles are trying to compensate. yeah she said she's had patients whose muscles atrophied and haven't gotten larger again so they haven't had to do any more injections. I feel like I'll need once or twice a year since I carry stress in my jaw though.
