Cooking INDIAN FOOD like you've never seen before - Inside the world's largest community kitchen at Golden Temple in Amritsar, India.
The Golden Temple (Sri Harimandir Sahib Amritsar) of Amritsar, India, is the most sacred and spiritual place for the Sikh people.
The Golden Temple is also home to Langar, the world's largest community kitchen, where 100,000 people eat for free daily. With the help of our local friend Amritpal, we got to experience and witness how 100,000 people eat for free in India every day and how the world's largest community kitchen at Golden Temple is run.
The kitchen is run by volunteers, the food is donated by the people, and that's how it manages to stay open 24 hours a day every day of the year, and that's how 100,000 people eat for free in India.
Everybody, irrespective of caste, creed, or race, can enter the Golden Temple of Amritsar, India, eat for free and seek spiritual fulfillment.
All the food served at the Langar, the world's largest community kitchen, is vegetarian, fresh, healthy, and nutritious. They serve an amazing dal, vegetable stew, sweet rice pudding, and incredibly delicious chapati.
In the next episode, we will be going on a vegetarian street food tour of Amritsar, India, where we gonna eat the best Indian curry and Punjabi vegetarian food in India.

I had the privilege of visiting the Golden temple enjoying the gorgeous grounds and sit and eat with the amazing people.
It was an experience i would never forget and recommend to anyone visiting India.
Since my first visit i fell in love with the people, the country and everything it has to offer.
That is why i have returned to enjoy some more

I dnt know what's your religion is but they are indian Punjabi and feeding 120000 people a day without taking any money n they are serving this from so many decades n the cost per year to run this kitchen is around 5 million dollar a year n still they are serving people for free . We indian believe in to take responsibility and accomplishment. World is not fair for everyone n we indian holding each other hands to make world a better place, may be you particularly belongs to high society but I can see your level of mentality.
