My sister died 4 months ago, and we both love your music. So when you released your new album, I cried really hard because she's not here anymore to listen and to enjoy it with me. When I listened to it, I cried even harder because it was also about your grief. I still feel like crying listening to your album. Thank you so much for your music, I really, really treasure it.

This album...wow. It destroys you and heals you. It's the storm, and the calm after the storm, and everything in between. Tom, thank you for being brave enough not only to write this, but to share it with us.
My dad’s name was Dennis. He passed away from lung cancer at 62 in 2015, after two years of sickness. I was 14 and my brother was 17. He was such a fundamental part of our lives, he was the anchor and the foundation. He made so many memories with us and our family…and continues to do so within ourselves with those memories we carry on and the love. 6 years October 23rd. I love and miss him. He was an amazing loving dad, partner, sibling, and uncle, and a wonderful friend and stranger to have.
this is a lovely sentiment. you write with such a genuine, heart-bursting love that it makes me glad you guys got to experience one another even it was for such a short amount of time ❤️ i hope it felt at least a little cathartic to find this song
Tom I've loved your music for many years but this album is so special, I can't get over how perfectly it encapsulates grief (the rawness of it and the ups and downs). The way you've done it is just incredible

Just finished listening to the whole Album. Me and my friend, who is also a big fan, stayed up all night to listen to it together. We took two hours to analyze every lyric. It's safe to say we're both left speachless. This Album is an absolute masterpiece, Tom. I've been listening to your music for 6 years now and it's safe to say I've never been this amazed by it like I was this night. Absolutely beautiful. I am sure your father would've loved it.

It's been almost five years since my dad passed away from ALS. I was 20 when he died and I've been really missing him lately, as I continue on through adulthood and find myself at a loss with everything I want to ask him and the things I'm not able to share with him. I came across your new album today and I've been crying to absolutely every song. It resonates so strongly with what I feel and have felt over the years. I was not expecting it. It's tragically beautiful. Thank you for putting it out there.

I finally got the time to listen to your album a few days ago while I was on the train. It was a pretty cloudy day but when this song started playing the sun appeared and chased the clouds away. It felt quite fitting and I'll probably cherish this memory for a long time.

And just about this one, and maybe the most impactful moment for me: The part "To the blue, we remember how you flew" is already so beautiful, I would expect that idea to be repeated or carried on, but "Denis was a bird" then just takes over, as if the idea of Denis being a bird is too important for the previous idea to be carried on. Just the way I understand it of course, but it really really gets to me. All the best and thanks for these amazing songs :)

I'm glad some people appreciate that, previous feedback of my own singing has been that I should enunciate less and sing more like others do. I'm going for authenticity.
