- Thanks to the RUclips algorithm, I discovered Mr. Feng, a 94-year-old calculus teacher, @ycmathematicsphysicsandche5659 . He said in his note that teaching makes him happy and makes his life meaningful, which I resonate with so much. I want to make a video to introduce him to you! Please consider subscribing to his channel and supporting what he does. Thank you.

Hey can you make a discord server ?
someone once said, there are two types of teachers. teachers by chance, and teachers by choice.
I first heard this through Alakh sir ❤️
I like how that sentiment reflects the way that true choice is deterministic.
I appreciate what you did and I want to say thank you for presenting us such a good teacher.
Thank you, too!
You stated this well.
I have commented this in his video, and I'll say it again, this is one of the most heartwarming things I have seen all year
That is not just the ability..... That is a super power.😮😮😮😮
Indeed!
I just subscribed to his channel and am currently learning linear algebra 1 😁
He is just being modest !
Thx for showing us his channel. He's a true legend!
It’s not just about doing something, instead, it’s about loving what you do.
This Professor needs to have more subscribers, guys let’s bring 10k to his channel.
When I saw your post I immediately went to his channel to watch his video and support him!
It may sound a bit obvious but as you get older, especially after the age of ‘retirement’ it’s important to understand that having a purpose and goal in life very much plays a role in a person’s longevity.
I’ve seen people who retired and thought they would live a life of leisure, only to find themselves miserable and mentally declining because they stopped having a purpose and goal in life, and no golfing everyday isn’t a ‘purposeful’ lifestyle, unless you’re a pro-golfer.
The fact that Feng hasn’t lost his motivation and desire to teach after all these years says a lot about why he reached 94 and with the energy he has.
There is another 93 year old who displays a similar energy, actor William Shatner…
That's awesome - continue doing what you do, Mr. Feng!
He has very unique insight.
Also he can play a mean harmonica, so he has more than STEM ability.
Will do, that question seems interesting
All the best to you! This is such a special video.
We share the same goal, I hope can teach math my entire life ❤
I swear i saw him 2 days ago with 300 subscribers, came to check on him today and he had 10k, im glad youre helping make his dream a reality
28k and counting.
this really resonates with me too as a math and science tutor. i have no plans on retiring, teaching is fulfilling and i love my job!
Brother your math teaching skills are wonderful and also make me love math as once i used to fear math
Also i loved the way of teaching by feng sir who has exceptional ablities in teaching ❤❤❤
Mannnnnn...I am from India and i am appearing for JEE ADVANCED in a few days and during my preparation I watched your videos because it motivated me to study more and made mathematics interesting (which is the toughest subject in the exam)
YOU BECAME MY IDOL, as everyday you inspired me to solve tough questions and work hard.
And today after seeing this video i am proud of myself for choosing the RIGHT person as my idol.
Hats off to you...keep spreading knowledge and kindness❤
✌️
nice my guy
i wish to know this man from YC Mathematics. i want to send him some money, and kind words. i wish to show my appreciation for his dedication to teaching. how can i do this? he is my type of professor. if i were lucky enough to get chosen to be in his class, i would never want to leave my desk. he is amazing.
thx for the recommendation
Brother, I have no words
Thanks for recommending him!
So glad you discovered this Mr Feng. Thanks to your plug the nice man already has eight times as many subs. Being a teacher myself this really hits homebase and fills me with joy. Hopefully there are a couple of years left for Mr Feng (and for you also of course).
Couple dozen more like ;)
This literally made me cry. I know you're being humble, both of you, but you clearly know so much more than just math or physics. You are deeply and intimately familiar with what it means to connect with other humans, to understand how they understand and to translate incredibly complicated concepts about real or theoretical worlds and to bring together the experiences of your students with your own. I used to wonder what I should do with my life when I was still in high school, tried to figure out how or where I would do the most good, but in time it became clear that the most important thing you can possibly do is whatever you love doing, because your love will radiate out and attract and inspire others to do the same, and then you will all have a more sublime life for it. So thank you, for teaching, for shouting out a fellow teacher and sharing your popularity with someone who might not have as much time as the rest of us, and for caring about people and about yourself.
Amazing❤😊
good teachers carry a huge aura and make difficult topics seem easy, you're one of them sir!
Thanks for the vid! This video is so wholesome.
Excellent. This was good.
I'm not into teaching (because I want to get money in quant/finance) but I totally understand your point of view and I think its a better view of your occupation. Maybe I'll get to it one day
That was beautiful thank you
I am from indonesia. I like your Chanel
I am math teach in Indonesian school
So that means you have time to pick up physics!!! I will add this channel right now. Thanks.
Physics is fun. I actually did the center of mass with my students yesterday.

you are really amazing!
What a legend
ppl who have respect for this man:
Please make video on Fourier transform.
Within 10 Seconds
I saw that publication
Ooh, a teacher in Toronto!
99 (the answer of f(x)f'(x)=x), his ability to teach is great, just like the answer
Area code 416 is Toronto, Canada.
I am from India❤❤
More heartwarming would be ... "I'm 94 and still repeating Cal 1 all these years."
❤
Can u plwse make a video on integrating √cos2x. Btw love yo videos ❤
I watched his video. Go there
I want to be like him
Day 2 of asking BPRP to do JEE Advanced Questions
Hi BPRP! Please solve JEE Advanced questions for maths! They're really fun! And once 2024 releases, JEE Advanced 2024 too!
that's an og
hello, you should try and attempt sqa advanced higher mathematics paper.
حنا عندنا الاستاذ نور الدين عملاق الرياضيات
Can you please solve my problem?
The problem: solve for a (a)^a=a a is real & this equation has 2 solutions.
I would be very thankful if you make a video on this problem.
1 and-1?
@@marshallmanz123 1 is a solution, yes, but (-1)^-1 would just be 1/-1, which is -(1/1), which is -1.
@@Gordy-io8sb And that satisfies the equation???
@@marshallmanz123 AH. I wrote this at like 1:00 or 2:00 AM at night, and at that point I was pretty much half-asleep. I didn't consider that.
Isn’t F’(x)=F(x)/gradF’(x)
Can you please solve my problem? I am requesting you.
The problem solve for x in the eqn
(x)^x=x ( x is real & there are 2 values for which the eqn is true)
Such a (G)
Hope he doesn't have memory loss

Calculus is way beyond my comprehension, why learn something that is useless anyway
it isnt useless lol, you dont have to learn it but it is literally everywhere in fields like engineering
It’s useless for dumb people
