This is one of my favorite Garbage songs of all time... and this is an EXCELLENT rendition of it. I still prefer the studio recording for the background ASMR's, but this is still pretty frikkin' awesome. Shirley [our post-punk, post-grunge, post-apocalypse goddess of cool] must have some buzz or mush in her earphones, though. Every time she goes for a high note, she's got to cover her ears. Sure sign of a technical problem.
LOL! She totally messed up the first verse and LIKE A TRUE PRO showed no weakness and powered through it without a flinch This chick is pro all the way..a master of her craft...a true pleasure to enjoy, watch, listen, and love....OMG! She's amazing!
@FoxIslandman Thanks for the info! Garbage use a system of inner ears with no sides, fills or wedges, that goes direct to FOH and back to ears and PA. The technology was pretty new at the time, so I guess it was fucking up when mixed with the festival soundsystem? Check out the videos for #1 Crush and Special from this same show - she goes ballistic with her mic during Special, and on #1 Crush she really has to sing heavy.

While both bands have released roughly the same amount of material over the years, it is Oasis who have not done a thing since the late 2000's. The brothers are now mainly known for having this ongoing, never ending, spat between themselves and they play this out on social media in front of the world. Those two do not get along well while Garbage hve been a band with the same lineup since day one. Garbage aims to inform people of social issues and the problems we all face today as a species. Garbage to this day still plays shows all around the world for their loyal fans. What does Oasis, or rather the former members of Oasis do? Have a public shouting match on twitter and other platforms as well as insult their own peers in a business that screwed them over just as much. Mad World. Those two brothers cant even get along but one of them has the temerity to insult a working band whose aims are admirable. He is doing this just to get a rise out of his brother who is touring with Garbage this year in the US. Noel, go back to slating your own blood and leave Garbage and their followers in peace. She can't hear, her inner-earpieces aren't working. In the full concert video she goes mental with the mike. When you're onstage you don't hear the music as you play it, you hear it with a slight delay because it's coming through the PA and then bouncing back off the venue walls at you, which makes it hard to pitch your vocals.

Shirley (and Garbage) often changed things on the fly in their live shows. One of the reasons they're so good to watch.
Sometimes artists change up lyrics on purpose to mix it up for variety. Not sure if that happened here.
