Warangal Carpet Making

My visit to Warangal in Dec 2018 to check out the Warangal Carpet making cottage industries. My friends Naina and family assisted me with introducing me to the artisans and also providing me with the accommodation. I met one of the artisans who is trying to revive the use of natural dye and move away from the chemical dye usage. This is not only beneficial for the environment, but also for the workers, who are not exposed to many of the carcinogenic chemicals during the manufacturing process.
