The float was wonderful. Steve you were very brave. Too bad that NBC's announcer Ana Gasteyer called it Hang Glider Granny and said "I wonder if she gives lessons."

would've been really cool if they integrated a cherry picker type crane into the float, so the hanglider could spin around, telescope up & down and in & out......out over the crowd & back, circling above the float.

Would be cool if they made it entirely eco friendly since it's all covered in natural material.

Could y'all put the grandstands on the Norton Simon Museum/sunny side of the street? People get cold and run for coffee or hot cocoa and end up having to make pit stops at the 'port-a-pots' . . . and miss so much of the parade.

The problem with that is that you would be looking directly into the sun at that time of day and it would be hard to see the action unless you looked east, after the parade has past.

May I suggest you pass on that morning cup of coffee before you're trapped for three hours on a float?
