LooseTrail Dry 2024

Two and a half years ago, a broken toe sidelined me from running and I stumbled into mountain biking. I hooked up with the local riders and got involved in building the LooseTrail. There was this challenging double jump I helped build, with a gap that seemed impossible to clear.
For two years, that jump taunted me. I could conquer everything else on the trail, but that jump?
No way. But finally, today was the day! I cleared it, albeit with a bit of a rough landing, and I know I can only improve from here.
The beauty of mountain biking is that it's unlike any other sport. It's about pushing your limits, staying focused on the present moment, and sharing the experience with a supportive community.
Btw the guy on the "lime" bike guiding me, George Panousakos, " falls" on the side of the berm because he wanted to see if I would clear the jump, excited he was he dumped everything.
He is 15 and I am 40+
