Trouble is Bruce can only play one song at a time Such high Octane it feels like an Orgasmic Overdose . The Absolute King Master Prisoner of Rock n Roll . Cannot wait till July .
There is a trade-off with the higher ticket prices. The audience was certainly into it, but in past tours people would just lose their MINDS when this song would be performed. This seemed a bit less intense, and I think it’s because the people in the best seats simply had the money and perhaps more devout fans couldn’t afford it.
Time has finally caught up with him....and most of the band looks bored to death. The energy is gone. I was thinking about seeing him again (It would be my 11th show) but would not pay the ticket prices after seeing the clips of the first couple of shows.
Kind of feel the same. He looks great for a 73 y/o man and the band still rocks.....but after seeing him when he was young.....when he was absolutely nuts on stage...I think I will pass....
Both Him and the band sound very "thin" if that makes any sense; the emotion and power from previous tours is lacking especially during "Badlands". This particular song always brought the house down. However, Springsteen is 73 and has been off the road for seven years, plus he had surgery on the vertebrae in his neck which was very close to his vocal cords (Howard Stern Interview) may have affected him somewhat on how he sings. Overall though, he and the band sound great considering their age and I'm sure as the tour progresses all aspects will improve. Just my thoughts.
It’s the sound on the video. E Street Radio on SiriusXM is starting to broadcast last week’s concerts. Much better sound and I’m listening on my phone.
I personally think it’s American audiences and not Bruce or the band. Very lacklustre. No buzz or energy off them. If this was anywhere in Europe, where they are more popular anyway, the house would certainly be brought down by the fans.
@@markdunne1856 I agree with you to a point Mark and believe me, I'm not trashing him or the band or trying to start a fight with my comment(s). I saw him in '99 at the old Philadelphia Spectrum and at Giants Stadium in '03, the Philly crowd blew away the Jersey crowd, so I definitely see your point of view concerning the crowds. There just seems to be a lack of energy and enthusiasm from the band and the crowd, but I think his age and early tour glitches are apparent from these early posts. Like I stated in my original post, it's probably going to get better as the tour progresses and if he does a second leg of the States after Europe, they'll probably be on fire.
0 seconds ago Just a mere shadow of himself, and the highest ticket prices in history. I guess if you never got a chance to see him before you can enjoy this but this is hard to watch for a fan who has seen his 20+ times over the last 40 years. In his prime their was no one better.
He’s 73. Time catches up with everyone. Early in the tour too…I first saw Bruce December 1980- and of course his energy In his early 30s was incomparable. Not hard to watch for me, but I get your point.

It was great to see him and the band in Orlando!!!
His voice is shot. He’s talk singing and out of tune. Shame on him for charging hundreds and hundreds of dollars for tickets.
He reigns as does the E STREET BAND 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

There is certainly a lack of urgency in this performance- the band looks like they’d rather be elsewhere.
No one will miss you

@@billorlando Watch "Badlands" from the Barcelona Concert in 2002/03 and then tell me there's not a difference.

I just put on my Hammersmith CD or watch Houston/Phoenix clips on you tube.
From another universe.
I love how you have copied and pasted this comment on every video from the Atlanta concert. Someone's bitter they weren't there.
It's ok to be dissapointed in legends getting old. But you don't seem connected to reality buddy. Please stfu and let us that are enjoy ourselves👌
