Even after the recent patch these Xdefiant snipers are still a little too overpowered in my opinion

People are desperate to instantly invalidate anything that exists outside of their echo chamber safety bubble.
On another note, in one of Jev's recent videos, he's talking about how the sniper nerf just wasn't enough. He's pushing for more flinch, to pretty much guarantee that if you get grazed, you miss that shot. He wants them to be Big Skill or Bust kind of weapons.

Yeah Jev keeps it real for the most part. I don’t really follow him but I hear a lot. There’s been a couple things people brought to me that Jev said that I didn’t agree with. But usually he’s spot on 💯

i said the same after the update , its ok adding flinch but if you cant hit them to start with its pointless , they want to add in 10% more sway and put more frames into ads to slow the quick scopers.
i was hitting a guy with an lmg and then i saw that hateful spotlight and bloop there i was dead a 1 shot tac while he was getting hit and flimched.

Dude the snipers are WAY too easy to use on XDefiant. It kind of reminds me of the snipers in Black Ops 2 and MW2. They were just TOO EASY. That’s what most of these people don’t even understand. Oh and btw, nice gameplay man.

Snipers are a love / hate relationship right now. Snipers are usually the first gun I max out in FPS games so I definitely enjoy the feel of them in XDefiant. However, I can agree the flinch still can be tuned up. The gameplay is fun when I'm the one sniping, but can get annoying if you are playing a team of 2 - 3 really good snipers. You can usually demolish the noob snipers with movement though.

Yeah, saw this coming. I haven't played since before the nerf, but flinch won't fix snipers, haha. The extremely generous hitbox, fast scope time, and fast rechamber make the snipers ridiculous. I don't know how they feel on consoles, but on PC it's honestly easier than using a rifle

whats up Gilmourrr, Yeah I snipe and I reg. gun cuz I like to get good with both. I dont just stick to sniping. Just the few complaints i said about sniping was on my end i had packet burst really bad on pc so my bullet wouldnt hit right when I would play call of duty at times. I had a decent mid range pc very 2000 dollars and I had issues with call of duty for some reason any other game would work fine. I do know the servers are crap in call of duty on pc and they like to put u across the globe and nero cinema sometimes would get into a lobby and go 400 ping. I dont like lagging like that in my game and when I first got pc it was bad, constant freezes and stutters. So I bought a duma os router so I can control the servers I play on and play on a low ping server cuz it was horrible when i first got on pc. Also my pc played mw2 2022 just fine with no issues but for some reason it had trouble running mw3 2023 so I decided to upgrade which ive been wanting to do that for awhile and dont just play cod. I play multiple games. In fact the games u mentioned in your other videos like borderlands, fallout, I also like open world rpg game as well as any fps game. All the games u mentioned I grew up playing them as well. Anyways I upgraded to a really high end pc build with like the best components and surprise the game runs really smooth with almost 0 issues And u know how the menu when u first get on the game stutters and it does it on console. My friend came to my place and he plays on console and hes like my game dont even do that. My game dont freeze, drop fps, or stutter in the menu anymore. Not gonna say every issue is fixed but like 98 percent of my problems are fixed. It wasnt cheap pcs are expensive. I had to let u know I wasnt thinking snipers need a buff but I do feel like most people that complain about snipers. Most of them might be coming from pc cuz ive had alot of issues with pc that I never had on console. It took me upgrading to the like the best components , buying a router to control what server I play on and I also 1 gb fiber internet. Im not bragging im just letting u know I fixed most of my issues. I enjoy xdefiant as well. Anyways sorry for the long comment just explaining how I fixed the problem I was having, have a nice day lol.
Would be great to see a game mode with no bunny hopping, slide cancelling and dropshot in modern fps games it would show up alot of these cheesy nerds even that free game on steam bodycam i saw a dude bunny hopping against ai its like a sickness in gaming

I feel like the sniping community in general it doesnt matter what game it is. Its the same shit to where people have an ego about it and its basically how you described it. They call you trash and say skill issue yet when they pull it out and show clips of them doing well day 1 no cheats btw. Then theyll praise you and stuff. And when you call them out they defend heavily on them just like the bo2 days when they threatened desert dave
I see this all the time in cod, overwatch, xdefiant, siege, i can go on. I agree that between bo1 and bo3 do take some skill because of no aa. I would say the same for battlefield as well sniping does take a decent amount of skill on too because there is bullet drop and velocity on there
Edit: the reason i mentioned overwatch is because in that game. people hate widowmaker due to her being the only character that can one shot and others cant. But yet those who main her just like how on cod the sniping community will get. they'll get their pitchforks and force activision to buff her because everyone bitches.

Yeah the snipers especially with the Tac-50 need another nerf I see too many tac-50's maybe I see at least one m44 user in a game and that's usually on one of the more longer range maps like attica heights on that map I can actually understand but for close quarters no either go AR or SMG.
Why nerf? Lol you people are just mad because you get outplayed and that's all, snipers are easy to counter.

Honestly it ain’t even the snipers that annoy me, with enough movement and good accuracy you can take them out quickly. For me it’s being forced to play obj modes with teams that don’t want to play obj. Needs them to add tdm to at least fizzle out some people who refuse to play obj but I can’t blame them at the moment because there’s no other game modes

the net code is still as bad as it was a year ago and this is after a year of tweaks and updates , it makes you wonder how it got its gold status with the base thing that runs the game is still buggy.
The net code that is currently in the game is not the same net code from a year ago its a brand new net code that they are building off of

we all blamed the devs for cod issues and ppl said its not them its acti , but here we are with a cod dev and a game that has had the same issues for a year.
the net code is still bad im still getting shot around corners (and not by cleaners) and im still putting 12 rounds in a guy and he kills me in what feels like 3 rounds and he has full health despite me getting audio and visual indicators of him getting hit.
XDefiant players are still blaming CoD for their XDefiant experience. I mean; not all XDefiant players do that, of course. But it is still something you see a lot.
A lot of the problems is activision though.
Yes we have problems with netcode and all that in XDefiant. Feels very similar to some things we saw in og cods on peer to peer. Even with the trash servers cod has now. If you dial back the aggressive matchmaking algorithms they have, cod would play so much better. The matchmaking and those algorithms are implemented by activision it has nothing to do with the devs

I think valorant has best vs sniping
Every time u pull out sniper, it chambers
your movement is slower cause snipers heavy
And when you scope, it slows movement a tiny bit more
This way you hold angles, and if you miss, you cant just re-peak you have to reposition
all fps should do that with snipers
it simple reason they are too strong most games for it too be one shot kill u need to hit headshot in this game it one shot if u shot them in foot.

YEP i still had the same problem today. 4 MAN SNIPER CLAN i dont see how they got in a 4 man on single player but yep all game PERFECT sniper shots like they had auto lock. now i am sick of the game, just got boring getting sniper shot every 5 secs but a gun with a bigger cal. cant 1 hit yea ok.

There’s currently 2 snipers and 2 marksman rifles but I believe we’re getting more with season 1. All the quickscopers use the other sniper I wasn’t using here

Snipers aren’t too strong, ttk is just too long for other guns
Snipers only op if the user is op. And by that i mean they can aim because i thought they were broken, then i picked up one and realzied you need to be able to aim because aim assist isnt that strong like people say. And the flinch means you have to position yourself to fire first or you get flinched and can miss even with decent aim
Yeah if the user is bad or average they’ll probably go positive if you happen to come across a really good sniper it can be oppressive

@@NathanMladenik1. It’s not easier. It takes a reg gun a gang of shots and I can just erase all those hitmarkers with a sniper by quickly hitting LT RT without a headshot running and gunning.
