I typically have to go through multiple different videos trying to find answers I can understand. But you are a great teacher, Ill i needed was your video thank you!
Hello and thanks for the question. It really depends on the price of concrete, how many people working, are you using a curb & gutter machine or doing all hand forms? That's just for starters. I teach construction at a technical college and don't actually do the work. Here I am just teaching how to do the quantity take-off. So, labor, procedure, equipment, possible overhead is all another factor. I hope that helps.
I am working with a company and the lead estimator thinks I am wrong on my take off. He thinks for this size of curb and gutter you can only get 13lf per yard. I factor 1 yard is about 18 to 19 feet with waste. What should I tell him?
L x W x H....regulation is 4inches deep so for the height it will be 4/12 but simplify to ⅓....so let's say 20' x 6' x ⅓(.334) which will be 40.08ft³ ÷ 27 {27ft²=1yard of concrete}= 1.48 yards of concrete but order 2 to pack your edges

1:17 is thats the flow line
Yes. That is the "low" part of the gutter where the water flows.
Can you tell me how you price curb and gutter? How do you charge per sq foot?

It would depend on the profile/size of the curb and gutter. Do you have a drawing of what the C&G dimension is?
How do you do driveways
