I hear these guys each day.
I think this ghaza was firstly sung by Riaz Ali Imtiax Ali in musical competition held by the government level at Sahi Qila Lahore, and this completion was won by both of these brothers resident of Masti Gate opposite back door of Shahi Qila...I have witnessed this ghazal on that occasion...All other singers sung this ghazal afterward..I think so....

Tremendous rendition of a ghazal that so many of the greats (Medhi Hasan, Nusrat, Jagjit) have performed. The rhythm and the melody here is exquisite. IMO, it destroys the melody that Medhi Hasan chose and competes well with the brilliant composition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
