This traditional event was organized in Anuet village where the young boys were traditionally moved from Childhood to adulthood. This is a yearly festival and every male child must undergo before taking up other adult's responsibilities like marriages, family roles, cattle herding, engaging in communal wars and leadership prospects in all dimensions. It is exercised at every corner of the world where Dinka, Luo and South Sudanese live to demonstrate the crossover. They are mentored to take care of themselves and abstain from early sexual intercourse in avoidance of 'Thiaang-Abomination' which caused forever thinness as it is believed by all communities including Aliab in Lake States. Harvesting seasons are right timing of taking up the initiation programs because of the likely plentiful harvests e.g. groundnuts, pumpkins, and grain produce from sorghum, millet, simsim (nyuom), Chaala, Akuorachoot, etc.
