The Alan Parsons Project is a British rock band led by composer, producer, and singer Alan Parsons that was formed in 1974. The band focuses on high-quality studio sound production and recorded most of their work at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The Alan Parsons Project performs "Games People Play", a 1980 song that peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in March 1981. It appears on their album The Turn of a Friendly Card and it features Lenny Zakatek on lead vocals.
The single version of the song features two edits, one during the instrumental section preceding the guitar solo and another shortening the guitar solo. It is also sped up slightly.
