This is the only flagship phone done right in 2019, surpassing usually well rounded Galaxy line. Giant but done right and best rounded flagship on the market. I don't care for all the gaming aspects btw. Sony, Razer, htc, Xiaomi, Huawei....all should take notes from Asus. PS. Real front firing loud and good sounding speakers with 3.5 present... fabulous!

The fact is, it is a flagship GAME PHONE, so it is the best of its category only. Huawei, Samsung have actually done great job with they flagship PHONES. You need to compare things of the same category. Of course, the idea that other flagship should learn from the even better phone would always be welcome.

Dude I made a terrible mistake of buying S10+ before seeing this. Don't make the same mistake. Note 10+ may look astheically good. But this has power under the hood. I'm really thinking about trading in my S10+ for this monster. Plus this has same camera module as ZenFone 6 which actually a good module plus we don't need telephoto with 2x it's utter waste. Rog phone 2 also has night mode. About IP ratings I don't care that much. For 6000 mAh battery it gonna last 2 days for my moderate use. That thing spoiling me real bad.

I wish more phones used this form factor - symmetrical top and bottom bezels which house the camera and dual FORWARD firing stereo speakers. I might give up my S10 for this one. Upgrade the cameras, add wireless charging and some form of water protection, and it's my dream phone.

dude, the cpu is being cooled by a pad the size of your fingernail. the screen is the thing being cooled by the vapor chamber. looks like they failed, AGAIN. and the external fan doesnt even cool the cpu thermal heat sink, it cools the battery. most other "water cooled" (aka mini heat pipes) at least offer some decent cooling for the cpu. on the razer phone 1 the 2 heat sinks directly cooling the cpu. hell even regular phones have either the battery acting as a heat sink, or the entire back of the phone.
I don't understand the need for "gaming phones" to exist just to play all of 2 games (PUBG, Fortnite). There just aren't enough "real" games on mobile to even justify all the horsepower. Like, why would you buy this over a Switch?
The performance is absolutely bonkers, although also means the phone won't be creaking if you want to use it long-term - I guess unlike the Switch, it's an all-in-one premium device for media etc as well.
Is a QHD display disernably noticeable regarding YT and just general streaming of videos than FHD display, I want to know wether I should get this phone as it does pack a lot for just an amazing phone in general or if I should go for the OP7 Pro or the Samsung S10+, I do like all of the specs for the R.O.G II but the display is a little bit of a let down regarding resolution, other than that I love the fact that it has 120Hz and that it's Amoled with a 6000 mAh battery and Snapdragon 855+, any help?? 🤔

I honestly don't understand why reviewers leave out important things like Ip rating, battery drainage and at least 1 photo compared to existing phones (like pixel, iPhone) just to have an approx idea about the quality

@@pikapika3 common apps such as social network apps, email, browsers ... are mostly supported and the experience using 120hz screen on those apps is really smooth. After using iPad Pro, i dont want to go back to 60hz screen anymore. Its a huge difference.
