I just made this Bikini Top for My Granddaughter and I was wondering if YOU have the Bottom to go with this Top?? My Granddaughter loves the Ripple Pattern, so I would like to make the Bottom to match the Top! Thank You
Thinking about it, i think if you use dc, it may come out shorter and not fit well since dc is quite taller than hdc, if that makes sense. My advice is to work "a row of increase, followed by a row of no increase". Alternate those 2 rows until the width of your last row is wide enough to cover your bust. Try this and let me know how it goes.
I already worked a cup without interchanging between increases and no increases. It came out well. Can I have your Instagram handle so that I'll send you a picture when I'm done
Hi. You'll continue to increase in the middle st of every row until the base measures 8 or 9 inches and then continue with the rest of the pattern as shown.
Hi. I think I placed '3hdc' in the middle st. That's the increase. So, Place '3hdc' in the middle st of every row until you have your desired width coverage.
Hi. Thank you. No. I wouldn't recommend a bigger hook size as your bra cups won't be sturdy. Just continue to increase in the middle stitch until the base of your bra cup measures from one side of your bust to the other. Increase until the base of your bra cup measures 8 inches for size L. 9 inches for XL. 10inches for XXL. Etcc... Hope this is helpful.
@@playfulregal thank you so much I have been waiting all day to see this video so I can try to make one I only need a larger size to put in nursing pads lol
This is really beautiful for a beginner
Thank you
@@playfulregal you're welcome

Hi. Just continue the normal pattern until the width of the base measures 6.5 or 7 inches

Hi. Thank you. Yes, you can. Just follow the same directions.

Oh. Alright.
What changes does one need to make for a DD cup?
Hi. You'll continue to increase in the middle st of every row until the base measures 8 or 9 inches and then continue with the rest of the pattern as shown.
@@playfulregal should i increase w only one stitch at a time?
Hi. I think I placed '3hdc' in the middle st. That's the increase.
So, Place '3hdc' in the middle st of every row until you have your desired width coverage.
@@playfulregal so if i want a bigger size i should just continue inc 3 in the middle stich not for example start everything inc 4
Yes, just keep placing '3hdc' or as you said 'inc 3' in the middle st of every row.
.. Do that until when you have the size you need.
Beautiful😍
Thank you
I love it. Do I use a bigger hook for a bigger size?

Hi. I purchase them from a local store here in Trinidad and Tobago.
