*UPDATE:* If you want to do me a HUGE favour and want to buy these shoes please do it through here - tidd.ly/3Teiax7. Since these shoes I've had the primus lite 3's all weathers and the tracker decon low FG2's BUT I have to say these are still one of my favourite pairs of shoes. Super durable, grippy and versatile. They have since gone to revivo and been recycled!!
@@alexreader I really appreciate this whole part of the Vivobarefoot commitment and approach. I also think I see that more of the models are being designed (or re-designed) & made to be re-furbishable.
If your size is at the half mark, should you size down or up? I'm a US 10.5 and I can't decide between 10 and 11. 10 is just at the toes and 11 feels like too much space beyond the toe. If you wear them for a while, do they stretch out?
For FG and SG I would stay true-to-size or go up to next size. For the Lite version I would size down, those run slightly larger and have less structure which makes it more apparent if they're a bit too big. (I own Trail FG ver.1 just like these in vid but diff color, the SG ver 2, and Lite ver.3)
That's good question. They definitely make more run on my forefoot more and they are super light, so easy to pick up. But there's no springy feeling or push back you might get with some others. Maybe over shorter distances they feel a bit faster than some other trail shoes I've used, but longer distances I can't really tell. I think there's potential for more muscular fatigue on longer distances without any cushioning but that's not so much of a factor on shorter runs. My feet definitely get stronger using these though. Hope that helps!

Ah, cool to hear this. Just watching the video and was wondering whether you would send them to be re-newed or recycled.
@Childcrone I did try, but unfortunately too messed up 🤣🤣 so they recycled them for me and gave me 10% discount code

@Childcrone yea they are definitely working to improve in that sense
curious why you got the lites after reviewing the trail version. im wanting to get another pair and cant decide between the lites and the trails

That's a tough one, I'd probably size down personally since they are roomier than other shoes!
use their chart. i personally had to size down 1.5 sizes. ended up buying the wrong size at first and had to buy 2 pairs

Hi Alex may I ask what socks you use for this I take it you don't wear thick ones
In the winter, I have used thick socks but that's when it's dry. Then in the summer it's either thin socks that don't hold water or no socks.
Did you ever end up Revivo-ing yourTrail F.G? Especially with all the miles you put in to them, would make a great video.
I was desperate too, ended up sending them off but they couldn't repair them :( so they recycled them and gave me a voucher. I miss them
@@alexreader That is equally as cool in my opinion!
@@exoduskamman1413 yea it's good 🤙
Is there a waterproof version of the shoe ?
Yea they are the "All weather's" version. They aren't fully water proof but water resistant
Are you faster in the shoes than other trail brands?
