Hello scrappers and planet lovers. In this video, I will show you all the free stainless steel, aluminum, tin, copper, and other metals that are found in a pressure cooker. I will show you how to safely and effectively identify and separate the metals in order to help maximize your profit and divert as much of the material away from the landfill as possible.

Note prices have gone up since I made the video. Final breakdown from 1 pressure cooker: 5.75lbs stainless steel 5.75lbs x $0.77lb) + 2 lbs cast aluminum ($1.00 x2lbs) + 6lbs tin ($0.12 x 6lbs). Also the 40% appliance wires are now $2.00lb in London, Ont.

A handy hack for stubborn screws that I learned from Shark Scraper. Turn them to the right to tighten, you might hear a little pop noise, the screw then comes out easily. It moves the lock tight or plastic just enough to get it to release.

Hey tinman i talked to my scrap yards about identifying brass they said scratch it with file but i was also told that the surface on red brass will feel little rougher than the yellow i dont know if that help you any but i hope it does help you some but keep up the great videos and be safe and have fun thanks from ohio here in the states

I sell my gold circuit boards to Zubicks Scrap metal. I get good prices. But places online like Boardsort.com will buy as well. I have not shipped there yet since I live in Canada and shipping can be costly.

That's not tin. Tin is non-magnetic its just 400 Series stainless

You are correct, it is just a category at the scrapyard: tin/shred all magnetic less 1/4 inch and steel all magnetic thicker 1/4 inch
