Can the BMU be used to present a fraudulent BCR (battery condition report) figure, to cheat a would be purchaser?. I am trying to monitor a case involving an Outlander PHEV where this is being considered as the case at a point of sale of a second hand one. If that did happen, how could a buyer be certain of the battery condition of a used EV at the time of sale.
