From what I understand, the screw goes through the other side in the front through the round box to the back and then you can spend the bracket on. The hole in the center in the front brown round boxes insert the screw from the outside and push it in and then grab the silver bracket and then spin it on when wherever you’re going to place the light then put the screw inside from the front Through the hole and then screw it and turn it.
@@ACUmancave I’m not sure if I made any sense . Because I was in the same situation pounding my brains out and then all of a sudden it came to me and I figured it out then.. I understand where you’re coming from. I was on the same boat. Lol
@@JB-iw3ui Yeah I pushed the screw through it and it dropped into place but the screw is longer then the mounting bracket so I had to drill a hole for the screw to pass through the mount into the brick behind it so that it sits flush to the wall.
@@ACUmancave Yes, that’s correct. The mounting screw that goes to the front to the back for the silver bracket sticks out about a quarter inch more and we have to drill a hole through the wood so that it could set right. It was that or cutting the screw and I didn’t wanna do that so yes there’s a little bit of work when it came to all of this. Now I’m just trying to figure out the remote control. But I love the light on how powerful and strong it is. Your video made me think over and over in it how to install it, but it did help me think. 🤔 I get what you’re saying in the video because I was in the same canoe you were paddling back-and-forth trying to figure it out . Thank you for your support. And the directions on the paper was mind-boggling also. But I think we got it now. 👍 I just now have to figure out the remote control . lol
