    As a child I wore an Alexandrite ring. The single stone ring set in gold was a beautiful gift from my daddy. ❤️

    Expensive Alexandrite must be proved by at least two reputable laboratories period.

    • @ludmilakotovski1837
      @ludmilakotovski1837 5 лет назад

      @Ronnie Higuchi Rusli: If you have access to a refractometer, you can easily test whether an Alexandrite is real or not! Also, a jeweller can give, sometimes free, an appraisal of Alexandrite!

    This is not a natural alexandrite, unless u got it from a museum. A natural alexandrite of this size is EXTREMELY rare and considering that a good quality alexandrite with excellent color change goes for about $60,000 a carat, no way this is a real one. It's very very hard to find natural alexandrites, even man made ones are very expensive. If by some luck u do find a real alexandrite, buy it, as it's a great investment. They are becoming more rare every year and the price u pay today just may double by next year. It is the rarest stone in the world and much more beautiful than the most flawless diamond. Everybody has diamonds but I bet nobody u know has or has ever seen a true natural alexandrite. Its widely known that 90% of all the jewelers in the US have never even seen a natural genuine alexandrite. THAT is how rare it is. And the few collectors that have them are not parting with them at any price. I know.
