Hello Koen, I pray may Allah let you complete the journey. I have noticed that you are going to pass Bangladesh. Let me know your riding path in Bangladesh. So, I could have met to you.
Hey Koen, awesome that you are in my home country Pakistan. Wish you could have cycled past Karachi, but i guess it makes more sent to cross into India through Lahore. Wish i was in Pakistan to have met you. Best of luck in your journey
What if you had instead gone all the way down to the coast, crossed into Pakistan there instead, and then followed the coast to Karachi? Is there any reason to expect things to be safer or easier down that way? Were you advised not to do that?
It’s also an option indeed. Sometimes they let you cycle down there, though generally speaking no tourist is allowed to travel freely in Balochistan. But for me that was a huge detour so it didn’t make sense for me
Love following your trip, so much so that you (and many others) inspired me to begin a journey myself and I am now almost 2.000km from home after just a couple of weeks! Pakistan is one of the countries I have on my list for one day in the future so it was really interesting to see your experiences there.
Great stuff, you're riding almost the same rote that I drove an overland bus from London to Kathmandu. That was 32 years ago, as an avid cyclist I salute you 🙏
Can you help with how you applied for a Pakistani visa. I’m trying to do the same from usa. A breakdown or how to would be nice and helpful if u have time and get a chance.
Wow adventure cheers from Isla Filipinas

That’s great stuff, must be a lot of differences but also similarities of those times. Sounds like a great trip!

It’s all online through their online portal. It’s quite simple, just arrange and upload the documents needed and that’s it :)
